I still have to go to one more store, so they are not in the mail yet....I will probably wait until after my trip to WDW in May to send them, in case I come up with something from there too!!!!

OK...dumb question what is a monkey bag? And why would they be mailed if everyone is meeting there? I know it was mentioned (i think?) but cant find the post. Give me a break on stupid questions, 3 hours sleep last nite. (where is that stupid cloud 9 smiley when I need it?)

Please dont feel y'all have to do up a bag for us. Not necessary but much appreciated. Not that I would turn down a gift. Such nice ppl y'all are to take the time to do that for total strangers. Looking at the updated list of who may come to the pool party.....WOW! 39 ppl including us 3. Sounds like it may just be worth making a stop at if just for the sheer number factor of taking over a section of pool deck and being all loud and stuff.

I am sending mine out for three reasons: because not all of us will be arriving at the same time... there are some people that are coming the week following our visit....the items in my bag are for the day you arrive to decorate your door and window, and, I don't want to have to pack all that stuff... I think it would be easier for everyone to find a little extra room in their luggage, rather than me pack an extra bag I have the two kids, the double jogger, the two car seats, all their stuff, inclusive of diapers still and that big husband to lug around... so any less packing I can do is welcomed! I am doing the dozen bags because I am buying the contents by the dozen. So, mine are spoken for as of right now. BUT, poohbear is doing a different goodie bag for attendees to the pool parties!

Like Colleen said, the monkye bags are just a little way to spread around a little Pixie Dust I guess. I started with Cat getting a HUGE blow up monkey that was our mascot. And then I found some smaller monkies and from there the monkey bag idea evolved! I am making 6 and they are all spoken for as well. BUT I do know that there was someone else who was buying some monkies. Stick around and see if she posts again. Then you can get in on the fun. It's just something silly that we thought would be fun to do!

They are the hardest things to fit in the suitcase, all they do is complain when you try to squash their legs in at the wrong angle and stuff.
What all is in them? The bags I mean...not the suitcases. I am decorating the window and need ideas. All I have come up with so far is the logos of the many sites I belong too... I really need to spend less time on the net. LOL

I just didnt know what they were. I saw something about someone making up treat bags for everyone and I thot that is what they were. I wasnt sure if I was supposed to bring something or not too. I still may anyway just for the actual site members (not the whole family---I am not that ambitious or rich to provide for 39 ppl...LOL) Are all the ones listed female or is there a male here or there on the list? I have something in mind to make but it is a little feminine.

Thanks for the info. Maybe next MAMA MEET everyone could do a swap (like the scouts) That would be fun and cheap. Dont want to do that this time since everyone is already doing this.
OH...Look for my monkey(my DD saw one at $Tree and wanted it--coincidence huh?) in my window with Mickey ears. Hopefully he dont get a hole in him B4 Sept. I must deflate my monkey. OH THAT DID NOT SOUND GOOD.

That is my window from last year. I did a halloween theme. This year I am not doing a theme.. just a potpourri of Disney stuff I have accumulated. I am bringing the Dream sign from dollartree, and a few see through placemats with disney stuff on them... that and some monkey I need to name him, and some mickey paint chips.

Last year lots of people had lots of great windows. There were lots of Pirate themes... and I remember Celerystalker's window was great... she had stapled a million mickey heads onto tulle and hung it in the window, so it looked like all these mickey heads suspended in the window.. I am also putting a dry erase board on my door, and note paper and magnets... because I know that you all will visit me and want to know where I am.....
