How about starting it up again with a friend, that way you have two sets of eyes, and someone to have your back...in case you forget something! :confused3

Not to many people that I actually hang with. The one friend I was going to do this with backed out so I was left with no one.

I would do it if it wasn't for having a paycheck coming in every week. Have 3dogs and 2 cats and 4 chins to feed you know Oh and I can't forget MIKE:lmao:

Start small, something you can do on a part time basis and keep your 8-5 job, see what happens and if you can build it into a full time job?

Wic,
Sending lots of pixie dust that your mothers numbness and burning go away once her treatments stop and sending even more that it is gone forever.

Pooh,
Hey you have that wonderful computer in front of you that you are so good with can't you just set up a calender reminder system for yourself so you don't forget anything? Think about all the details that go into Disney vacations; have you forgotten anything involved with that? Life is short you should enjoy your job and be as passionate about it as you are about weddings. If I was nearer to you I would help you out. Like Wic said could you do it on the side and start small with just one or two weddings?

Hey did anyone get that wonderful 40% off code? I read the thread on it but as usual no such luck for me. I have never gotten a postcard or email for a discounted trip and if I got one I would do an early to mid August trip as well as the free dining already booked. Ah well maybe a nice AP discount will be in my future. lol

Angela

Hey gals where are all you at???

still here... asleep by day up by night :faint:

Ants, I gain a huge amount from surgery because of the water gain from the shock and the prednisone immediately adds five pounds with the very first pill. I am amazed and thrilled that you did not have those problems to add to the pain. :cheer2: WTG, with the weight loss but there are easier ways to do it. Stress also makes me GAIN. Differences.

SG/Linda

that's how my family knows when I am going through something... I start to loose me... bUT I think I am really on the mend... I start eating good food again :scared1:

Yup, we're still here.....well, not all of us, but a good chunk of us still are! Welcome back!:yay:

In a few months, we'll switch this post over to "September 2008 POP'ers??? MoJiToooOoOoOOooo!!! :lmao: :thumbsup2

Nope we aren't going out west. We are heading to Florida instead...don't get excited..we're going to Pompano but I'm trying to convince DH that we cccouuullldd go to WDW even if its for 1 day. The boys are pushing for this too. I think I might just leave him there and head up with the boys. :rotfl2:

What happened was that I was looking at airfare one day and found $198 roundtrip for our Feb break and just grabbed it. The kids so nicely reminded me that we should have flown into or out of MCO so that we could have gotten a day or two in. Silly me didn't even check saw the fare for FLL and grabbed it. :sad1:

So no disneyland but hopefully disney World.

So sorry I know that you were looking forward to it but hey keep after you husband and tell him that you have to visit home at least for one day or BAD LUCK will come upon HIM and HIM ONLY:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi y'all! I just got home from my boy's basketball game. Naturally our team won, how could they not?? :cool1: I was able to use my new GPS unit to take the back way home and it was wonderful. I can get lost in a small closet. :rotfl2:

I already had a big day planned and then this morning I was given the chore of arranging a Disney honeymoon for a couple that got married last night and wanted to know where to go etc. etc. Naturally they have never been before. I set them up with POR/FQ and some suggestions for places to eat. I even managed a code price for them that saved them some bucks. This lady has had a hard life. Her first husband is in prison for killing someone and her second husband, a really great guy, died in the worst possible 'position' that you can imagine for a married couple. I sincerely hope that the third time is the charm.

Pooh, Mike seems like a nice guy and he is even good looking but are you sure you want to marry a fellow without enough taste to appreciate YOU??? :worship: I got a proposal, of sorts today myself. A guy at bowling told met that he had fallen in love with me at first sight. I have not heard that in a long time. I have been proposed to by many fellows on first meeting. I married two of them and I can tell you that guys who do that are troubled people hunting for someone to take care of them. Run, run, as fast as you can from the Introductory Man!!!:rotfl: Man, as good as you are now, I cannot imagine what you might have been like prestroke. Look around at some of the folks who run such businesses and see if you do not notice that not all of them are at the top of their game. Maybe you could work part time for someone else if that is something that interests you just to see???? I bet you would soar.

Timmie, if I lost weight when I was stressed I would have long ago disappeared altogether. I am glad to hear that you are sounding better.

Wic, think you can catch up with me on post count?? :dance3: :dance3:

jetsetter90, that Disney magic just sucks you right into its vortex whenever you get anywhere near. Your husband is not immune. :wizard:

My chest still hurts but I have been coughing so that is a step in the right direction. So far the weight gain has not gotten to me. Tomorrow is coming though. Too sick to feel like eating much especially after all the pills so maybe that will help. My goal is the same as last year, a loss, no matter how small, each and every month. It is something that is doable and will not set me up for disappointment and failure and a fit of depressive eating. :rolleyes1

Cooking a big meal for wonderful bil to thank him for giving me pick up service so I will not be near the computer until afternoon, if I survive. :)

SG/Linda (who signed up to see Menopause today)

S/G thanks for the boost of support and yes I have had many heart felt talks with myself regarding the fact that Mike seems not to appreciate me as much as he should thats why when we had this last huge talk about it I made a decision for my self to move on if he wasn't ready (which he is 10years younger than me).

thats so kool that you did that for that couple maybe I should move over near you and we should go into business together!!

I am glad your feeling much better.

Pooh, I do not think I could survive any more folks needing my help. That did not sound good but the honest fact is that I am plumb wore out with driving folks here and there, taking care of folks etc. On good days it is not so bad but when I feel badly it is about all I can handle taking care of Tom. All of my friends are either older and have families that ignore them or are small children and need other sort of help. I spent my little bit of ;free; time, while Tom was bowling visiting with a lady I know from a restaurant. She had been our server through the years and had even worked with our children way back when. She was awesome and her two sons worked at the same place. One was killed in a motorcycle accident and when I recently saw her I did not recognize her. I found out that she had went in to a downward spiral and started doing meth. She has gotten herself clean now and looks a whole lot better than when I last saw her. I have no idea if I helped or not as I have no experience with drugs at all. I need some friends without problems. My best friend is going blind and since I am deaf we take care of each other. :rotfl:

I love my GPS as it helped me find the school where my grandson played ball last night and then led me back a way that I could never have handled on my own. Yes, they won their game. They were behind when I arrived but the worm turned shortly thereafter so I am sure it is all because of ME. :rotfl2:

I can promise you that if things are not what you want before marriage it will not get one whit better afterward. People do not change. Has he told you why he is reluctant to get married? That might not be a bad thing cause he might take it so seriously that when he does finally propose you can be assured that he is in it for the long haul. Just a thought.

SG/Linda (who has the swiss steak simmering) Off to make some bread.

Your are soooo loved by everyone and yes you did have a hand in helping that women out and I will believe that until my dying day!!!

As far as Mike goes yes we have discussed he reason and it just comes down to committment(sp)and thats all so that is why I have made the choice for myself to give only certain amount of time and then move on if he can not commit to me it was like this when we moved in together also we were living together but he spent one or two days at his Mom and Dad's so if something went wrong he could run home LOL as he says it he had they open option yet so I am not living like this after this point of Feb. 14th I have been married to many times and I don't want to live with someone the rest of my life without the committment of marriage so its his choice now I have made my choice and it will stand with him or with out him. I can make it on my own I have proven that to myself in the past its not easy but I can DO IT:goodvibes :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Pooh, you are too kind and you do the same stuff. If you see someone in pain you help. That is what we all, mostly, do. And we should. Just why it all has to happen at the same time is a problem. :)

I have been married more than once myself and have a whole nother take. I love the idea of separate houses and frequent visitation. :rotfl: When I was young I thought that marriage was a guarantee of something but I know far better now and since there is not a chance of a snowball in heck of any more children happening, sort of one names Jesus, marriage does not make sense to me anymore. Companionship without having to do the housework sounds like heaven to me. Also if HE did not want to do any giving I would be free to find someone who would, being married and having morals severely limits your dating life. :rotfl2:

Bread done, on to the side dishes. I move slowly nowadays so some cans will be opened. Cherry Fluff for dessert, possibly my special Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, if I feel like it. Applesause instead of oil and Splenda instead of sugar, whole wheat flour and some fiber thrown in for good measure. Tastes better than it sounds. Yum!!
