@ Ann: Since you made the first post in the thread, would you maybe like to start a list of people on this cruise? With info like "where from", "which stateroom", "which dinner seating", or something like that? Only if you feel like it, of course! (Would volunteer to do it myself but didn't post on the first thread page, that was before my time )

I was thinking the same thing!! Ann's second bump post would be a great place to post all this info.

I lived in Bitburg from 1963-67. Since then I've visited Frankfurt and Stuttgart several times on business. I also lived in Graz in 1975-76 learning German (most of which I've forgotten), though I've only been back once since then.

May I ask where you are from?

Of course you may ask! I live in Hamburg in Northern Germany, about an hours' drive from the sea.
(I have posted a few pictures of my hometown here on the DIS, when the Dream stopped in Hamburg en route from the shipyard to Port Canaveral, in this little report last year.)

However, I must sheepishly admit that even though I'm German I have been neither to Bitburg, Stuttgart or Frankfurt (unless you count Frankfurt Airport) ...

That is OK, I still have many places in the US (and in Washington, DC where I worked for 25 years) to see.

I traveled to northern Germany to take a ferry to Copenhagen but sadly I remember very little of the region.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I started a list on page one. If we want a more detailed list without all of our personal info on it, I have no problem putting a google doc together and sending everyone a link. That is how I am doing our FE list on my Fantasy cruise group. People seem much happier with that. Let me know what you think!!

The one day we went to Plimoth Plantation was only day it didn't rain. We'll make it back someday!!

Ahh Oakville, just minutes away!! Am also quite familiar with the London / St. Thomas area. My sons played in quite a few soccer tournaments there.

Hello Everyone! We'll be on this cruise as well! This will be our 4th cruise. Just did the Inaugural Cruise to Alaska!

Sailing will be myself Vicki, DH-Rich and as of now just our daughter-Amanda, we are still trying to convince our son Tim to go!

Only 476 more days! LOL

I'm not quite sure what you are talking about.
I'm convinced that was not the real team last night!! It was quite embarrassing. BUT, at least my Red Sox beat the Yankees!! If you are a Boston sports fan, we try to find a silver lining wherever we can find it! We're all a bit obsessed when it comes to our teams. It almost feels like a sickness!!

Maybe we can come up with a list of things for us to take a picture of and when we get back we can share our pictures to get each unique perspectives. Something like, 1. A photo of the Magic in NYC 2. A Photo of the Statue of Liberty taken from the ship 3. A photo from the Sail Away Party ect. Then, when we return, we can post one picture a day starting with #1 until we finish our list. Tell me what you think!!
