September 19, 2010 - anyone?

Is Eli going to the Oceaneer's Club/Lab?

I'm feeling very encouraged by the amount of kids around my 4yr old son's age. I knew there were going to tons of kids, but it's nice to see. Last time we went my husband was on leave from working in Iraq (independent contractor) so Alex didn't get to spend as much time as he wanted (as in all of the time) in the Club. This time my husband's been back (for good) since December. I have a feeling I may not see my son for all four nights.

:mickeyjum
Yes.. I have him signed up... If we can only get him to stop pooping his pants..lol... he does pretty good for the most part, but is not completly house broke.. We are gonna try it, but they are supposed to be potty trained to participate.. Here's hoping he gets it before then!:worship:

Emsabems- That's totally how I got my son potty trained before our cruise last September. I told him "There are no Pull-Ups on Mickey's Boat." two weeks before we left. He went underwear and never went back. :woohoo:

I am so using this approach on Eli.. he just turned 3 in June, and does pretty good but still has poop in potty issues... I tell him he can't see Mickey if he poops his pants.. Not sure he is getting it.. I hope something clicks for him before we go!:cheer2:

All right here is the latest list. As always, if I've missed anything, please just let me know. :goodvibes

This is going to be so much fun! I can't wait to tell Nathan (4) tonight about all the kids his age that will be at the Club!

Now, if I can only get my parents to book their flight...:sad2: I'm on the verge of just booking it myself.

Now I'm going back to the DCL page to look into that fuel supplement credit! woo-hoo, extra money!

Jenny

Hi Emsabems! No Prob! :) My name is Thamar and my husband's name is John! Genesis is my eldest daughter! lol don't worry about asking, I get that a lot! I'm so excited!!!

So happy to see so many little ones around DD4's age! I wanted a nice family vacation but once she gets to the clubs and meets everyone I have a feeling it might be a fight for actual "family" time.

Also with the fuel supplement credit, was that on everyone's reservation or just certain people? Do you see how much onboard credit you have or do you wait until you are on the ship?

I've tried to read as much as possible & finally thought I'd jump in!

This will be my 6th Disney Cruise & this one is extra special as it's celebrating my DD's 30th birthday! (Her nursery was Disney.) We have 10 people in 4 rooms with 2 - 75 year olds being their first cruise! + My friend's birthday is also while we are on the cruise -so celebration city - woohoo!

My mom is designing & sewing pirate costumes as we speak! & I'm sure she would really get into the FE! Would it be safe to say you should hand out things once per day or once the whole trip...never done this before! TIA!

You can really do it either way. When we did it last year, we handed out one gift, but there were some people who did it every day...it really is just how you feel about it. If you guys do want to participate, just let me know and I'll get you added to the list. :goodvibes

Woohoo! We're doin' the doc dance today!! :woohoo: Mike came in with the mail and said that we had something special...I had no idea he was talking about the docs!:dance3: I knew the cruise was getting close, but this really puts it into perspective!

I'll definitely dance to that!!

I'm dancin' with you!!!! So excited I can barely focus on the fact that school starts next week! Who cares about Kindergarten :tigger:, we're going on a Disney cruise!!!!!

:dancer:

I have been so busy at work I have unfortunately put the cruise on the back burner (hard to believe), but when those docs came in the mail today I was dancing all around :cheer2:. I can't believe it!! It felt like it was never going to get here, woohoo!!

Will we all be getting documents? And what kinda documents are they?

Has anyone ever used the Baby Travelite service? The diaper bundles seem to be ok, but the baby food is marked up about $.75 to $1.00 from our stores here locally..Or does anyone know if there are grocery stores close to the port or close the the Radisson Hotel by the port? I really would rather not have to pack and transport 7 days of baby food from Kansas City to Orlando.. I am afraid my food might not make it!...

I am so jealous, we have not received our documents yet. They will be sent to our TA and then she will send them to us so I am hoping that we will get them at the first of the week.
I don't know about a grocery close to the Radisson but I am sure there must be one. I do know that there is a WalMart in Orlando.

Crystal, I am so sorry I completely forgot to post our cabin number, we are cabin 6551. Just curious though if we decide to upgrade at the port how can I let everyone know that our cabin has changed.

I am so excited just order my FE tonight and have been scouring the boards for ideas for gifts. There are so many choices. I really need to work on narrowing it down and getting things ordered (so not crafty) so that they arrive in time!!
