Celeste: I hope you are feeling better. My DH was rear-ended almost two weeks ago. His car is totaled. So we are trying to make due with one car. We are still waiting for the other guys insurance co. to get back to us with a $ amount.

Ok, what do you all want to read about in the next newsletter? Christmas lights in Chicago? The DVC party in Chicago What sales are on Michigan Avenue in Chicago this weekend? Can anyone guess where I'm going this weekend?

Seriously, a couple of you said you may work on articles for me. Your deadline is November 30. Also if you have information about yourselves that you want to add to the "getting to know your fellow cruisers" section, send it to me. Thanks!!

Seriously, have a great time....and I can't wait to see the pictures....I'm wondering if this Festival of Lights is anything like the one held every year by the Falls in Niagara Falls Ontario.....maybe I'll have to go and check them out and report back for the newsletter. Oh....I see a newsletter topic there....does your city/town celebrate the holidays "Disney Style"??????

Elaine, I'm going to Chicago Sounds like a great idea. I'll put something together if everyone sends me information. Actually, we can stretch it and say How does your city/town celebrate the holidays. It may not be "Disney-related" directly, but some of the things going on in towns across the world give you that Disney-feel. As much as I hate winter weather, I love the holidays and the time between Christmas and New Years. There is something magical about it. Looking forward to hearing from everyone!!

Just off the phone with DCL,(making a payment), the CM that I talked to, after a few probing questions, found that in the office they have posted signs...posters everywhere that read,"THINK ICE"
I don't know exactly what this means....are they hoping for a bitter winter.... or are they gearing up for an Alaskan Cruise in 2007?

And..... according to a very important CM that was on the Magic when we were there recently, told me that there was an inaugural cruise for 2007.

If this is true(hopeful)it will be a good reason for all of us to get together again.

Oh Alaska! I hope that this is more accurate than what my TA has been telling me. For some reason she is betting on the Mediterranean......... Alaska would be better in my opinion. That would also mean another Panama Canal crossing. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Hey Scott...I guess it's going to be very cozy in your stateroom!!!! I'm sure they did the same thing as you and upgraded using points.

I know this is a month old, but the last time I checked in was Oct. 1, sorry everyone. I stopped getting the notices and just kept forgetting to check in.

Anyway, what happened is that Harry and I rebooked because my TA was able to get us a shipboard credit if we did that. Got the same categaory and same price, but different cabin. We are now in 5634 on the other side of the ship.

Wish we had points, but we don't have DVC.

Beth (Harry is in Hawaii without me right now -- sure wish I was retired, too!)
