When we were at WDW last December, we went to see La Nouba and guess who walked in just before the show started...yup..you got it Wynonna...couldn't miss her hair!!!!!

She walks by Mom & I (we were sitting in the front row of the second section) and she smiled at us...I watched where she went and we had better seats than her!!!!!

After the show finished we were getting our stuff together and she walked by again and said Hi!..I said Hi and that I loved her music (I had to be polite - I couldn't tell you one song she sang - thank goodness she never asked what was my favourite!!!!!) and then Mom puts her hand out and Wynonna actually hugged Mom!!!! The lady behind me said to me "was that who I thought it was?" I said if you thought it was Wyonna Judd then you would be right!!!!

Mom has all the luck...a birthday hug from Josh Groban in August, a hug from Wynonna in December and then on the Repo cruise she talked to one of the Boyz II Men guys, got his autograph (for me) AND got a rose during the concert!!!!!!!!

Getting ready for Wilma - ate the filet mignon from the freezer tonight - tomorrow the shrimp. Got to eat the good stuff before the storm. Looks like the forecast models are changing - here's to hoping it stays out to sea - if not it is hurricane shutter duty for me.

Okay guys I need all your help.

My Mom is watching CNN and they are talking about Hurricane Wilma and Mom just informed me that she wants me to cancel our 11 day cruise....she said she is very scared to sail during hurricane season after seeing the destruction of Katrina and now they are saying Wilma may be more destructive...I must admit I am a little scared as well.

What do I do...how can I convince her that it will be okay...it will be okay, right????

The southern Caribbean doesn't get as many hurricanes. The capatin will not take us in harms way.

The captain will not take us in harms way. That is for sure if they want to cash in on the 2007 rates. LOL

I was also concerned about traveling during hurricane season but more so due to potentially leaving my house and my bulldogs in the path of a storm. I know that the captain will not take us into harms way - there are many islands out there that we can visit that would not be in the way of the storm. Now I am working on someone trustworthy to watch the dogs. I have plenty of insurance and will make sure that I have someone to board up my house if a hurricane should hit while we are gone. The way I look at it is you could get hit by a bus tomorrow and then what. Live life and enjoy. Tryin to reason with hurricane season.

Hello Everyone, Happy Wednesday! Jenn here. Going to come out of lurking and say hi! Elaine, tell your mom her 11 day might turn into a 14 day! Maybe that will make her feel better! We just finished dinner, it was so good... roasted medley of ground hoofed mammal, and crescent formed refined wheat bathed in fromage! Lol... I could get used to dinners like this, its almost like being on the ship. We even had baby peas, from a can!! I guess it will be my job to make dessert, he will need a little sugar to keep him up all night. Maybe I will reheat the brownies I made last night.OK.. have a great night all!!!

For my evening dining pleasure I had 3 small portions of baked breaded medallions of mixed treasures of the deep, (fish shaped fish sticks) on whole wheat bread, with portions of diced pickled cucumber (relish) with a hint of white egg sauce (Mayo).

Jenn, wish I were closer I would have put on the Tux and came over to serve you diner.

I got a new tropical Dry Suit, can’t wait to try this puppy out. I am going to be one warm diver this spring on our dive trips. There is one thing bad about dry suits and it has to do with something you can do in a wet suit that you don't want to do in a dry suit.

As a PC friend... here's my 2 cents! You've already signed on, your initial deposit has been made. Don't force yourself to make a decision in the middle of all the news on Wilma. You've nothing to lose by holding on to your room right now. Give yourself some time. As the others have said, the safest place you'll be, will be on board the ship... and it's a pretty magical one, at that!

Okay, just converted to points to a Cat. 9. Gal at DVC said they were busy all day yesterday with "those lanyard people" (Just kidding ) Actually said they spent alot of time yesterday on the phone with DCL since it was the 11 month booking window.

She was concerned at first about their being any space on the ship, but it wasn't a problem at all. We are now in 2534 just down the hall from Tony and Adrienne!
