Just off the phone with DVC, got a Cat 7 for this cruise. Will get the updated info to Tony for the Cruise List. I really like the Cat 7's, but they can be hard to get on points. Was told there were 5 available. :cool1:

We are in Stateroom 5134 with late seating. Lynn will be surprised with the Cat 7.

Bob, I hope you got what you wanted.

Also got a room at OKW for before the cruise, so the Wine and Cheese meet will be at OKW on 9/16. Room to be announced here on the board after we check in. :goodvibes

We originally had a Cat 8 on this sailing, and have taken your recommendations to heart.

2007 we want to return to Tanzania and that will really use the points so if there is a special 2007 cruise we want to do the Cat 11 might work. Or we could always get into a Life Boat Suite.

Lynn is on graves 9-7 for the rest of this year.

Big week for me. After months of planning, the big 40th Birthday Extravaganza is this Saturday. I can't believe it is finally here. Oh, did I mention I have Bronchitis and Pneumonia. Today I pick up all the liquor. Doesn't that kill just about all germs? ;)

Have a great week all.

Hey Scott...I guess it's going to be very cozy in your stateroom!!!! :rotfl: I'm sure they did the same thing as you and upgraded using points.

11 months from right now I will be either finishing up my shrimp at the Beach Blanket Buffet or checking out my room. :cheer2: :cool1:

How about everyone else?

Tracy

Hey I just realized that today is officially the 11 month mark until our cruise...at this time, 334 days from now, we will be enjoying the incredible embarkation buffet aboard the Wonder!!!!!!

I'm so excited to meet everyone.

I have a request for my fellow cruisers...since we've never visited any of the islands/ports we are going to (except Castaway Cay) I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share what not to miss at each of the ports. I'd like to make the most of our time in each of the ports.

Thanks in advance

I just hope they are still going with us.

This will be our first cruise on the wonder. We have always cruised the magic before.

I think on the 10 day Christmas cruise Dec 04 on the Magic that we did St. Thomas (Christmas Day) just went shopping; St. Lucia (don't remember what we did) and Antigua (we were suppose to go on a boat tour with EcoAdventure, but his boat engine blew up the day before) so we went on a road trip tour instead. Would have much rather done the water tour cuz we heard it was so great.

Okay, I'll double check about St. Lucia. I swear I have been there.

Good morning everyone! Does anyone remember how old a baby has to be to go on the ship??? Me and Dh think we may have brought back a "little souviner" from WDW in September :earseek: SInce we are still not 100% sure ( have to see our doc) I have start thinking if we will still go or not and doind my research (just incase we are expecting). The way I am calculating that would mean bringing a 3 month old. Will he / she /i t lol be too young????

I'm looking at my confirmation materials and it says:

"Women who have entered the 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date and infants under 12 weeks old will be refused passage on Disney Cruise Line ships due to safety concerns."

If you haven't gone into labor at 13 weeks before, have doctor induce or have a c-section!! :rotfl2:

Come on Linda - getting old. We all went on the Pirate Adventure on the Unicorn.

Ken

You know, there was some controversy about this very fact during the PC cruise, cuz Mr. Pirates of the Caribbean dude was on the ship and we specifically asked him cuz we had been on the ship at Christmas.

He said no, but he was going to do some more research. I know on the Christmas thread there was research and talk about the ship we went on being in the movie.

Oh man Lesley, I hope that you're feeling better by the time that the party of the year rolls around.

Get better!!! :grouphug:

I got the feeling that it might have been used in the backgound or for shots of the rigging. I also asked the question at one of the talks during the May repo and got a solid "no" from the speaker eventhough the ship says they were used in the movie in some advertising that I saw.

Either way, it was a great excursion.
