Went to see Evan Almighty tonight. It was OK, but I don't think that I would pay to see it again.

Peter tomorrow's menu is homemade chicken and dumplings, whole kernel corn, and turnip greens with a skillet of cornbread. Mike

Hey Mike..

Since you are so great in the kitchen..do you and Kathy enjoy any of the cooking shows, Top Chef, Next Food Network Star or Hell's Kitchen???

Last nights top Chef had a remake of American classic comfort food..chicken and dumplings was one of the things redone..lol, and it had to be low cholesterol..lol.

Love the food network Cheryl. Since I am home on disability, my contribution to the family is baby sitting, cooking, laundry and other ways to earn my keep:lmao: :rotfl2: Mike

Peter

Not really Peter. I have been cooking since I was about 10 years old, so that makes it about 46 years. I would not want to do it as a profession, just for my family. I do own a cork screw and know how to use it, but we are just not big wine drinkers. Mike

Mike..gotta love the screw tops..so easy to keep a bottle in the fridge rather than having to recork. Screw tops are suppose to be the way of the future..it is going to take a while for people to get used to the idea though.

Try these if you and Kathy like wine (with screw tops). Virgins Shiraz and Chardonnay..they are both fantastic..good price. I think we pick them up at Super Target or our local grocery store (publix).

You have to recork your bottles?:rotfl2:

...We are going to Shoney's tonight. They have the breakfast bar on the buffet tonight. Mike

Man, I miss our Shoneys.:sad1:
But the upside is, that is where they built the Krispy Kreme.

Peter

Normally yes Peter. But alas, after all the double and tripple desserts on the Repo cruise, I need to be good for a bit.
Cheeseburgers next week. Roast chicken tonight.
