If you are ever on 65 going north from Indy, you'll have to let us know

Every wednesday night we drive straight down 65 to Indy! We leave Indy @10AM and head out 70 to Hagerstown, MD. Usually we are en route when everyone is sleeping.....

There is no way i can keep up with all these posts! Not with my snail connection! It is raining cats and dogs here in western nebraska. Thunder, lightning the whole works. I will try to read up but you guys need to slow down ! Or else I need that computer stand so I can read while I drive! I did read something about ice wine. FYI Palo carries Inniskillin Ice Wine which I LOVE for dessert! Just incase anyone doesn't want to fool with bringing stuff. We are driving down so if anyone wants anything we will be glad to pick up alcohol for those who are flying. Except for you DPD, we are bringing the car, not the Big Truck!

Inniskillin..eh!!!! I live about 40 minutes from the Inniskillin Winery...and about 80 other wineries!!!!!! Hey Leslie....want to come and visit me sometime???? I'm sure most of the wineries have tours!!!!

.... I did read something about ice wine. FYI Palo carries Inniskillin Ice Wine which I LOVE for dessert! Just incase anyone doesn't want to fool with bringing stuff. ...

I have one bottle I was thinking about bringing.
But then, how long would 375mL last? Then I couldn't carry it on. Hard telling what would happen down in the baggage handling area.
So we will see.

Had our only bottle or Rosa Regale tonight with dinner. T-bones. Choc cake for dessert. No Margaritas for dessert.

Ok, I'm moving where you live. I could drink that stuff for breakfast The dessert wine glasses they serve it in at Palo just isn't enough. It is to die for! Better than DP S&C if you can believe that!

Ohhhh that sounds fun!! YOU drive though...LOL And the american $$ goes a bit further there... wonder how much I can legally bring back to the US?? And how much I can smuggle in..... LOL

We recently got a directory of the wineries in our area and I have it packed to bring with me to the wine party....Niagara on the Lake (where a lot of the wineries are located) is a beautiful place to visit - I'm sure you and Kevin would love it....close by Niagara Falls too...or "the gallons of water gushing over a cliff" as we call it!!!!

No not this trip....I'm driving across the border and flying from Buffalo....$178 US return as opposed to $600 CDN from Toronto....we'll be driving in the fall when we go to WDW!!!

I've been asking the same thing since 2001 when we "discovered" Cracker Barrel.....I think we have every one on our route now marked in our Trip Tik we get from the Auto Club so when we drive down to Florida we know where we can stop!!

P.S. No Bob Evans or Denny's here either.....

yup....these are "your" Falls (American side)....

...and these are "our" Falls (Canadian side aka The Horsehoe Falls).....

...and those little boats at the bottom of the Falls are the Maid of the Mist....a very up close (and wet) view of the Falls....
