I can explain this one: I have no life :lmao: I drive back and forth across the country every week so I can pay my house off in an estimated 7 years and then maybe work another 7 years then I can retire. Maybe I will have a rainbow palm pilot then :lmao: ps- I'm 25 and already suffer from CRS. :rotfl:

OK... I give up....

... I googled CRS and came up with all sorts of interpretations of CRS... but none make any sense. What is this referring to?

Plus - on the other hand - congrats on the prudent approach to your primary residence debt. We have a similar view - but a flexible approach to it. Long story best left to another ocassion though.

Aside from that - you say you're 25? I presume you mean DOG years... right? LOL! ~ OK... maybe not.

If you ship a box o stuff from the ship it has to clear customs and takes a while. This is what happened to me with a map I purchased. Wait till ya get off and find a UPS store. There is one in Coco and several in the WDW area. If you are returning to a WDW resort they can also ship from there and charge it to your room.

For those renting cars from Budget after the cruise, the Budget office in Port Canaveral ships UPS (and possibly other options, but I prefer UPS). So you can just carry it off the ship (or put it out with your luggage if it safely boxed up), catch the shuttle to the Budget office, ship your stuff and pick up your car.

Could it get any easier? :cool1:

Evening gowns! The only time I wear them is on DCL cruises and New Year's Eve. Hopefully none of my May repo cruise buddies will remember the two from that cruise, cause I'm thinking I'll be wearing the same ones!! :rotfl2:

Oh, the only problem with that is the photos will be the same dress.
The only difference will be longer hair and more wrinkles on the face!! :teeth:

Wrinkles only go where smiles have been.......

Lynn will be doing the same...

No new gowns for me. Shorter hair, and I wasn't on the Repo. No new shoes either. :dance3:

Captain Crash...you asked for the story behind Leslie's DCL lounger she has at her home...so here it is...

Okay...so you know that we "re-located" some deck chairs from Deck 9 to Kelli's BAV (big a@@ verandah) so that we could have enough chairs to sit while we went through the Panama Canal on the Disney Magic last May. Those chairs (in their entirety were returned to Deck 9 - thanks Kelli's Stateroom host). Fast Forward to about a month and a half ago....I noticed on Ebay that Mouse Surplus was auctioning off some of the DCL deck chairs and loungers. These must have been sold to Mouse Surplus after the dry dock of the Magic in October 2005. Leslie bid on the lounger and won one. There was no theft involved and she owns the lounger fair and square and I can't wait to test it out in September. I really don't want people to think that Leslie and I are "thieves".

Thanks Tony!!
I couldn't decide between Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans...thanks for the info!

As for the Napa Rose, I thought that would be a good place for Michael and I to do alone...the kids can order room service (they'll love that more anyway!).

Thanks again!

Cafe Orleans also introduced Garlic 'Pomme Frites', or fries. They don't quite meet my standards for Belge Frites (having become addicted in living in Brussels), but they are pretty dang good. The chocolate souflee crepe is, while not as good as the Palo souflee, pretty dang good.

I agree on Napa - perfect romantic place. Though, be sure to plan for 2-3 hours for dinner. They like to take it at a leisurely pace. If you are kitchen fan, they have a kitchen view 'table' available, on request. It is actually a low bar seating scenario, but it looks over the entire open kitchen. Less romantic, but a lot more fun.

Tracy and Carol....great deal on the dresses. I too was lucky and visited The Dress Barn at the right time last year....it was February or March and The Dress Barn had marked all their special occassion wear (dresses and pant suits) down...they were 75% off....I had a hard time deciding which one to buy because they had quite a few in my size....I thought why am I killing myself to decide when each dress was less than $25 each....so for the price I would have paid for one dress I got 4 beautiful dresses!!!!

:goodvibes I did see my wax mickey. It is nice. It will be ready next Thursday. :Pinkbounc Mr. Williams gave me a picture. :goodvibes

....and you're going to post for us to see, right??

Earlier today someone posted about the dress at Palo. Here's what DCL's site says:

At dinner, dress shirt or jacket are required for men; a dress or pantsuit for women. At brunch and high tea attire is "cruise casual" — no shorts, swimwear or tank tops.

Another BIG thumbs up for Napa Rose. We have dined there quite a few times.

Our personal vote would be for Blue Bayou. We always eat there during our visits. Mainly because of the kids and their love of being "with the Pirates".
