(there are some nice people we met last May) There have been several offers. that if I could get the time.
I could not refuse.

I don't know if it's me....or the 151 proof rum....but Peter's posts now make sense to me

I was thinking about you the other day and wondering if you were still reading this thread...glad to see you are still around!




PIT- I love the color of your house....it's very New England. (Yes, I know you're not there.) I loved the houses in New England- no subdivisions, every house is different. Dark rich colors, beautiful. Our house here is grey, it's nice....but not our dream house.

Thanks! Actually I got the idea out of a magazine , and partly from the color of my grandfathers old house in Springfield, Mass- so I guess the New England influence is definitely there. Our house had cedar siding that everyone thought we were crazy for painting over but it just blended inwith the rest of the neighborhood. I like this much better. When we get the yard done and my little fence put around it I think it will look exactly like the cottage I've dreamed of. Dive in, take a chance-the great thing about paint is you can always paint it back. You should see our interior walls. Every room is a different color. Kev went to Sherwin Williams to pick up MORE paint the last time we were home and the guy in there told Kevin to save money-Not to let me watch HGTV anymore I can't stand plain white walls. I'm a weirdo, I know.
