Congrats Ohio State fans. That was a very impressive win! Have had great times with Buckeye fans over that past few years. They keep finding themselves in the Fiesta Bowl.

My work sponsors a Fiesta Bowl fashion show every year so I get VERY good comp tickets. Have seen some great games - especially the year versus Miami. Our Ducks should have played Ohio State last year but the Golden Domes cried their way in - very undeserving as the Buckeyes proved. Sorry Domer fans - but it's true! The point being, we will be getting Fiesta Bowl and NC game tickets again this year and at this point it looks like we will be watching Ohio State one more time!

They really looked like the number one team in the nation.

Its still early!

I think the Fiesta Bowl is our 2nd home now!

There is an ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk, wish is much smaller than the other Clubs. People line up real early for the games!

new pic of Baby Abigail today

abbysept92006002.jpg

How beautiful! I've gotten so use to hospital pictures it took me a second to see the I.V. I hope Abigail is doing well. Christina was a NICU baby, so I remember well those long lonely nights without her. Feel free to call if you need any help before you leave. I'm just a hop, skip and a jump away!

Or if you need a ride over to the hospital - just let me know.

Sweet Sue

Me? Pretty much just moving things from the "cruise clothes" drawer and into the suitcase. I do have to take the tux and a couple of things to the cleaners. Should be good to go.

Anybody else do what I do in this scenario? I need to have my tux (and a few shirts, slacks, etc) cleaned. But rather than having them done here, and having to iron them again on the ship, I just send them to be cleaned the first day on board.

ETA: (oops!! Just saw webray's post with that exact recommendation!

Too bad Disney is not having the unlimited internet on the 11 day cruise :badpc: :surfweb: Mike

I am so glad we started packing two months ago. We are not in cruise mode here. It's all construction, destruction, instruction, direction, correction. JB needs to do a song about this one. :thumbsup2

I let a few hundred dollars of massage money in air conditioning into the newly plastered part of the house last night. When I walked in I almost thought I was in the tropical rainforest. :rotfl: The moisture from the plaster was fixin' to drip off the ceiling.

We'll be in the right place when the time arrives. That is the mantra. I will get out to pick up a few things this afternoon. :hourglass

More updates to the roster.

We have 295 people listed total. Amazing!

my parents are going on this cruise! and leaving me at home all alone *sigh* actually i was just whining about it to my mom and she said just quit your job, then you can come! haha...

how big of losers are my parents, we just got back from the 4 night cruise on thursday. they're spending almost the entire month of september on the wonder :rotfl:
i'm so jealous i wish i was going too. it's supposed to be for the 25th anniversary. but my mom keeps telling me that if i was able to come she'd be more than willing to let me. too bad i don't have a new job yet and i haven't given my 2 weeks (which i can't till i get a new job) otherwise i would be able to go too!

Great news on being "CLEAN" Keith.

I have always been a believer in annual check-ups.
A friend of mine just happened to go into the doctor for a check-up earlier this year. Hadn't had one for 15 years. Found out he had prostate cancer. Was lucky they caught it in time. Prognosis is good.
Another friend, 48 years old, had a stroke this week. Had not been to doctor in many years. He will have a long recovery, but should eventually be o.k.

So, I believe, this shows that those annual check-ups are very very important. Especially for all of use over forty victims of fate. pirate:

Okay Bob, I found this post very, very funny. It reminds me of all the people who tell me they are healthy and they are 30+ pounds over weight. I want to ask them- are you really healthy or have you just not been to the doctor? I guess it's my warped sense of humor or maybe it's the codeine. :rotfl2: (Unfortunately, it's the humor- the codeine isn't that strong. Elaine can buy this stuff over the counter)

Scott- I don't know what kind of spider it was, I was sleeping when it bite me, but it hurt enough that it woke me up. I haven't seen any spiders around our house, so I'm really confused. I had a bad cut on my ankle from shaving (remember the bloody footprints comments) and the spider bit around the bandaid- we had our windows open and I think it came in due to the blood on the bandage. So, now I'm writing papers for school and elevating and putting ice on my ankle and taking lots of BIG horse pills. The necrotic spot is a little bigger, but the redness is going down. I'm sure I'll still have some damage to show off on the cruise...

Happy celebrations to all.

Busy day for birthdays.

Our daughter Kayla has a birthday today too. She turned a BIG four years old today.

I can't believe everyone is getting ready to cruise in just 7 days!!! I am so excited for all of you.

I wanted to volunteer myself as "Land Liason". If anyone has a need to reach family, friends or work while you are away, I am your gal. You can send me a pm/email/call with details. I will be happy to call, fax or message for you. I will be available throughout each day that you are cruising.

You can use my email through the DIS at tink33@wdwinfo.com or tbarri@cox.net

I will send a message to Celeste with my cell phone number.

Celeste be a good girl and get well. Nurse's and spouses of nurse's make some of the worst patients. :rotfl2: Hope the foot is doing better today, and if you need it I can bring my walker along. Hey we can share it and both get on the ship in the first group :lmao:
Mike

Don't tempt me on that offer- I might take you up on it. I hobbled around the mall last night and Robb yelled at me the whole way because I wouldn't use a wheel chair. :lmao: I'm upset because I can't run right now, which is making me angry. It's not that my foot hurts, but there is lots of tightness around the site due to inflammation- so it hurts with flexing.

Thanks for the well wishes and I'll try to be a good girl, but no promises! :teeth:

Okay, never mind I have the prescription stuff. It's so weak, I don't know why you need a script. I who doesn't drink or take anything other than motrin- is not getting any relief from them.
