Said a litte pray for your friend, you see, I too had testicular cancer...I'm 10 years "CLEAN". :cheer2: :cheer2: I have to go every 5 years and have a checkup. If you talk to him and want to make him laugh, ask him how long he will be in physical therapy....He should ask "Therapy for what?", Then you would reply, "To learn how to not walk in circles"! OK, think about it... :rolleyes1 Again, as a survivor, I can joke about it. I learned, faith in God and laughter was the best medicine!

Great news on being "CLEAN" Keith.

I have always been a believer in annual check-ups.
A friend of mine just happened to go into the doctor for a check-up earlier this year. Hadn't had one for 15 years. Found out he had prostate cancer. Was lucky they caught it in time. Prognosis is good.
Another friend, 48 years old, had a stroke this week. Had not been to doctor in many years. He will have a long recovery, but should eventually be o.k.

So, I believe, this shows that those annual check-ups are very very important. Especially for all of use over forty victims of fate. pirate:

 Only one week left till we sail! :cheer2:

I am spending all day today on the cruise - FINALLY! The only thing I've figured out so far is the formal night dresses. I have a long list of things to do to get ready! I may need to buy a new car to pack up all of the stuff for this cruise! :teeth:

Christina's up visiting dad, grandma and grandpa so I've got the whole day to myself to GET THINGS DONE! Maybe I can even catch up on the boards (okay, so I'm dreaming here).

This cruise is so very needed. Friday I confirmed with Christina's doctor that she will definitely need another major surgery in October when we get back. The poor kid missed her entire summer and now between the cruise and the surgery, she'll miss at least a month of school.

Happy birthday Carol and Sandy! September is an awesome month for a birthday - and Virgos are such wonderful people! :teeth: Couldn't have anything to do with my OWN birthday now, could it? :lmao:

Happy Annivesary Tom and Alicia. Is this cruise an anniversary cruise (even thought it's with the kids)?

Tracy - I'm jealous! I want to be in Key West too! I haven't been in years - something about moving to Florida. I haven't made it there since. :confused3

So what are these new beds that everyone is talking about?

o.k.....I'm really behind on getting ready...I went to Lexington KY yesterday to shop, (London has really nothing but Walmart etc.) to find grass skirts, there is a party store up there and they had none!! I didn't know there was a season for grass skirts!! Anyone have any ideas where I can get one at this short notice!! :confused3

  HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ALL

Brian & I will be married 14 years on Sept. 19!!!...wow that really sounds like a long time when it's in writing!! ;)
Suzie, good luck on the skirts.

Just sent home friends to Berea. Real close to ya, huh. Had to leave early for little league football game today.

Pretty well packed here and will just have a few last minute things.

Later :thumbsup2 :sunny:
We will start the packing tonight. Do a little at a time.
Lee is doing some last minut shopping today. :sad2:
Will be a busy week for us, so we need to get as much done early as we can.

Me? Pretty much just moving things from the "cruise clothes" drawer and into the suitcase. I do have to take the tux and a couple of things to the cleaners. Should be good to go.

Everyone have a great day and a quick week! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone! Clear, crisp 36 degrees in Cadillac this morning! I got more accomplished yesterday than I thought and even got one suitcase opened and items put into it. I have a few last minute things to get and we are set to go.

Cheryl - there are no steamer trunks in cat 11's nor are they in the SP cabins - or at least the one my boys stayed in.

Tracy - have a great time today in Key West! Glad you got to see the shuttle and I hope it didn't create any traffic issues but everyone should have been headed in the opposite direction as you when it was over.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it is finally only a week away. :Pinkbounc We made our reservations for this cruise last August while on the repo cruise. I don't think I will be able to sleep this week because of all the excitement. Just put the first load of wash in and am going to try and keep from using the majority of our cruise clothes so the wash I do on Thursday evening will be minimal. This will be difficult since we live in Florida and still need to wear our summer clothes. Not like our visit to Michigan last weekend where we actually got the chance to wear our jeans. My daughter gave me a gift card to get a manicure and pedicure on Thursday. DH just received his pirate costume so need to iron that. Gotta finish up the magnets. Seemed like I had so much time to do everything and now here we are at less then a week till we leave for WDW and still so much to do. We are at SSR a couple of nights before the cruise, then OKW for a couple of nights after the cruise.
See you all soon

Hey Bob,
Why not just let DCL dryclean/press the tux when you get on the ship. Then you don't have to worry about wrinkles when you get on board. Just a thought.

You always have the good ideas. Just might do that.

Raining there? You need to get the SKYPE.

(captaincrash)

WOW one week to go, I guess I was to focused on what I had to do to realize this… KEWL

Had a good rain, wind, thunder, etc last night, now it is clear and cool.

Happy birthday Carol, Sandy and a very happy anniversary to Tom and Alicia.
When we cruise we always celebrate our anniversary onboard, even though it may have already passed. Just so nice to be able to be onboard.

Has some rain here last night, and have to get the steps out of the pool and cover it. Do not want to come home to a ton of leaves and junk in the bottom.

We like to celebrate our anniversary on board also. Only 19 years for us though.

We used to rent a house, don't know who installed the pool/landscaping around it, but, every time it rained all the dirt and junk flowed right into the pool. We mostly had a swamp after storms instead of clear water. What a mess..lol.

Celeste be a good girl and get well. Nurse's and spouses of nurse's make some of the worst patients. :rotfl2: Hope the foot is doing better today, and if you need it I can bring my walker along. Hey we can share it and both get on the ship in the first group :lmao:

Spider bites and tick bites are some of the most painful ones. The governor here in Tennessee was bitten by a tick and wound up in the hospital and a visit to the Mayo clinic. Ticks are sneaky, you don't kow that they are there until they get you. Kind of like the IRS :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Mike

:tinker: GOOD MORNING CRUISERS!!:wizard:

OK anybody that can help me on this - although its probably a dumb ? When I print this out, I only get a partial map - it gets cut off where the aft elevators should be. Is it just because I don't have legal paper? Should I adjust my print set-up? What am I doing wrong? :confused3 Any help would be greatly appreciated - otherwise I may not get to deliver my stateroom presents! :scared: Or should I just go off of whoever has a fish extender? Gosh I'm so lame sometimes. Sorry folks

The only way I got it to work was to save the top 3 and bottom three as images (1 for top 3 1 for bottom) and then printed them through a photo program using fit to page

The question of the day...I think we are all ready for the new beds and shampoos. Can't wait to hear Tracy's answer.

I think the beds are new but I'll double check. No on the shampoos.

Someone asked me to check and yes they do have the pink stuff (sweet 'n low) and Equal and Splenda.
