Ok, I lied. This is my last post from home. I couldn't sleep. I was too excited to sleep! Everyone else has to get up in 20 minutes, but I think I hear Bill now.
Tracy

Bon Voyage Tracy and Bill!

I'm at a shipper in the semi truck. I WISH I was in a hotel. No such luck. They are FINALLY getting our trailer loaded after 7 hours.
I have spent my afternoon corresponding with people I went to highschool with. A guy I know, Austin, was diagnosed with testicular cancer on June 28th. It is very aggressive and he is going through the strongest chemo they can give him. He and his wife are expecting their 1st child Sept. 17th (of all days) and that date also happens to be the date of his last chemo treatment for this round. Not to offend anyone, but PLEASE pray for him and his family. And if you are not religious, please ust keep him in your thoughts. He is having a very hard time with the chemo. Thank You! He honestly is the nicect guy ever! Someone e-mailed me the pics of his "Chemo Party" . All of our guy buddies from high school shaved their heads bald along with him before the chemo. That's what friends are for, eh? :goodvibes

I called on something else today and they said NO prepared foods... :confused3

Ivan....the guy I spoke to was very nice....I explained that I was taking some baked goods that are not available in the United States and that my friends were really looking forward to trying them. He asked a lot of questions about what was in the buttertarts and how they were prepared. He asked if there was a cream filling on the top and I advised no, it was more like a pecan pie consistency. He told me that it would be fine. I made sure to get his name and I have it all documented (phone number, time of call). Since at the beginning of my call they advised me that my call was being recorded and he asked me for all my info that I could hear him typing into a computer....I'm hoping I will be fine.

I thought I saw some early birds this morning. :)

I thought I was the only fool.

Hope you have safe travels and smooth seas!
If you see Florentine tell him I said HI!!!

Dianna, Hope the shoulder hangs in there, good luck with that.

PIT, Our thoughts will be with your friend, LIVESTRONG. This is a great charity.

Cyndi and Kevin, Happy Anniversary, remember you will have the cruise to celebrate, so this can be a nice long celebration.

Denise, I will play for Gumbo…. I know the first bowl is free then there will be a spicy monkey on my back…. (it’s a J Buffett reference)

Hey, just heard on the news that if the shuttle gets delayed and is a no go today, the next window would be late September. The news did not say a date, so we might get lucky. That would be KEWL!!!!

Beth, we will vouch for you guys at the port. Online is the way to go.

Our Boat Drink Mix is a 50/50 mix of Crystal Lite Orange Sunrise and a Orange Strawberry Banana, with a splash of Pina Colada mix and Rum to taste. Is good without Rum.

Tracy we will be looking forward to your reports.

Bob – the only fool???? No Way mi amigo, we would never let that happen, now get back in that Cosmic Oven and bake a little more….

Enjoy the day….

Good morning all. Have a great cruise Tracy and Bill :sail:

Happy anniversary Cyndi and Kevin  :woohoo: :dancer: party:

Your friend will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Just checked the roster and noticed some more new folks, so Welcome Aboard, Marsha and Tommy, I know we were on a cruise together a few years back but can’t remember just when that was????

Said a litte pray for your friend, you see, I too had testicular cancer...I'm 10 years "CLEAN". :cheer2: :cheer2: I have to go every 5 years and have a checkup. If you talk to him and want to make him laugh, ask him how long he will be in physical therapy....He should ask "Therapy for what?", Then you would reply, "To learn how to not walk in circles"! OK, think about it... :rolleyes1 Again, as a survivor, I can joke about it. I learned, faith in God and laughter was the best medicine!
