Hi guys,

How nice...all the well wishes from the 11-Night group! Thanks guys...we'll bring her back in one piece for you!

Wish I could join you too!

Have a fun and safe voyage,

Would you please ask the crew to get the new H2O products and the new mattresses on before we board on 9/17? Thanks! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's quite easy...you tend to get quite technical in your responses with all the possible information someone might need and include pictures etc when in reality, they are probably looking for a quick answer. Most of us try to keep our responses short and to the point. You can always add at the end of your post that the person can PM you if they want a more detailed response and then they can chose to if they want.

I know I read Mike's response and thought "yup...that's what I thought too"...your response went WAY over my head...too long and technical with pictures etc...I stopped reading it and went onto the next post.

sorry...just my 2 cents

I know...

Ya get what ya pay for. And - there is as much or as little in an answer as you want. I'm no different with all matters. And I did not expect everyone to pour over every word I posted.

Mikes' response did not really address the questions posed in any detail - or even each question posed. But it had merit - especially in its' brevity. In that I was quite impressed - almost humored.

SO, no offense taken at all. Life is too short for anything to really get me down for more then a few seconds. The long reply was really offerred to one person - and in my posting I encouraged we move it to a PM to continue (if desired). Unless a NEW question seemed to have significant public interest. :thumbsup2

Cheers! :thumbsup2

Tom when you get older you tend to cut to the chase. Your posts are filled with great information, but on internet boards, people tend to skim posts more so than read them. Looking forward to meeting you and everyone else on the 17th. Besides Tom, us older people are pushy and grumpy :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: Mike

P.S. I am just lazy also :rotfl2:

I understand entirely.

I sometimes enjoy sharing the thoughts is all. And a picture is sometimes entertaining. SO, when I have a thought that is better conveyed with a picture - then sometimes I fish for it. That's all. As such, if any read or not read a post it does not matter. I've had several PMs convey thanks for my humor and entertaining whimsy. ONE thankful message like that is priceless and very heart warming. Several make for a very warm feeling indeed. I've had a few lately... I began to think... I neither sought them out or really deserved the complimets. As I see many folks posting entertaining and whimsical things. Often not involving me - but reading along and following is every bit as entertaining.

So... I actually feel good about sharing things that MIGHT be funny to some. And in advance I'd like to offer an apology to any who might have EVER been OFFENDED by any of my humor or whimsical illustrations/animations. If anyone is offended by anything posted then just PM me and I'll be happy to edit it accordingly! I for one am not coming aboard with any agenda or preconceptions about the DIS community. The last sailing with a DIS community was far smaller and a little less active - and yet it was really nice addition to the DCL experience. I expect more or less the same here. Even without any DIS involvement we've had lots of sailings where we had a really "grand time". My spouse and I are (IMHO) very easy going sorts... and more or less we're somewhat "Happy Go Lucky" sorts... except when my spouse finds Crayola marks all over the interior of my Lexus... and worse is when she sees I don't care a stitch about it! LOL! And that's life....

Now can someone direct me to a cheap and convenient source for some Murphy's soap? I gotta run now - I've volunteered to help set up a book fair for our local PFA.... TTFN!

Absolutely! Just so you don't miss us, we will be on deck 10 at the rail. We will be wearing blue and white lanyards with a nice name badge and we will wave with both hands. Alex

Afternoon all! I have another suggestion for a Don't Forget (off of my mile long list): Don't forget some ziploc bags. I have taken empty ziploc bags on every cruise and used almost all of them for various things. May not apply to everyone, but a must for us :thumbsup2
Also don't for get your HAPPY FACE because we only have 11 days until sailaway!      :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Well it must finally be cruising time as we have started our fall cleaning! Before every cruise we clean the house from top to bottom that way when we return home it is all clean and less depressing! So I am cleaning the bathroom (I always get stuck doing it!) and Scott is doing the kitchen and living room-then all thats left is the 3 bedrooms which are quite easy!

So by Friday we will be packed and ready to go!

Dan

P.S. For anyone looking for cheap crusie clothes, JCPenney has a huge sale in the stores right now, we spent $50 and saved $285! We got 6 pair of shorts and 3 shirts! Can't beat that.

Mike and excellent suggestion.

PIT, yep always have a supply of ziplock, baggies, various sizes. Great for wet swim suits and other stuff like you said. Excellent Thanks.

Gotta go to the doc and get some shots, I hate getting shots, I hope they have Kewl band aids.

We went "treat" shopping for Fantasia today, I know she will miss us as much as we will miss her! Why can't I bring her along???? ;)

Wow, Dan, could you pop down to FL and help me clean before we go, lol. Seems like I am getting no where fast in that department.

I knew I should have stopped at Penneys today, I went to Dress Barn instead and had no luck at all. Penneys tomorrow I guess. Thanks for the heads up!
