Just a couple of quick, unsolicited tips for everyone. Guys, don't forget to carry your grass skirts in your carryon bags in case the suitcases are not all delivered in time.

Secondly, are you flying in and concerned about lost luggage? When we fly, I put half of our clothes in each others luggage so that if a bag gets lost, we both have enough clothing with us to last until we can replace what's missing. Or they find and forward our lost baggage....

Everyone, here's wishing you a safe trip . We're leaving Louisiana on the 15th and are really looking forward to meeting everyone!

That is great advise! I only wish I would have done this last weekend. When our family traveled to Illinois for my grandmother's 90th birthday party we had two bags. One with DD's clothes and one with DH & I's clothes. Which one was lost????? Of course, DH & I's!! It took almost 36 hours to get it back and I HAD to by a new outfit for the party!! Shucks!!

My TA says they went to the agency and were mailed out to me on Thursday -- shouldn't they be here by now??

Good checked luggage tip, Here is also something to add:

Make sure your name and address and a phone number are inside your bags, also put a copy of your flight itinerary inside your checked bags. This may help you bags find their way to you quicker should they get lost.

I understand that checked luggage is up 20%.

Also don't forget to place any medications in your carryon in their original containers. Some of us old f*rts need a small storage bag or freezer bag to carry them in Also make a list of your medicines that you take and place a copy in your wallet or purse, whichever you carry. Makes it easier if you have an unscheduled trip to a different doctor or emergency room to know what meds you are on. Mike

And, if they're liquids make sure to have a copy of the original prescription from your doctor so the TSA doesn't confiscate them. And make sure the name on it matches your id.

Our last cruise this past Valentines week (Carnival) we got our docs AFTER we returned. oh well... they still took us aboard! And with or without docs you ought to gbe fine. We still have time for you to recieve them but can't you sort of preregister on line? So... unless I'm mistaken among the things of merit not had will be the luggage tags... right?

Oh well... thats' my $0.02 on it...
