I don't suppose anyone has uncovered and shared this update on our cruise amenities and enhancements which are gonna be missed:

Yeah... it seems after our sailing they will put the Wonder into dry dock to refurbiush the ship and these are some of the "enhancements" planned. So - it's something too consider for the next DCl sailin'.

#35

Actually, someone on the main DCL pages said they sailed in June and August and the beds on the Wonder were definitely different. Don't know for sure, but I've also heard the shampoos, etc. have already been changed. I HOPE so!

Hey Bob and PIT....

Mom wanted you guys to try her buttertarts so she went out and got all the stuff today...hopefully the US Customs people will let me bring them onboard my SouthWest flight....PIT....I'll bring some to Scott's and Bob you'll have to find me outside the terminal.....or Leslie and I will be forced to eat them before going into the terminal :rotfl:

Good Evening everyone! Made it to Ohio (Elyria to be exact) without incident. It took me 6 hours but only one stretch of road construction and that didn't last too long. My dad is still in rehab but doing well from his knee replacement (second one on same knee) and Mom is happy to have a driver to take her shopping :rotfl:! I am just happy to have somewhere to go besides Wally World to go shopping!

I just took my younger daughter to the dentist this morning and we chatted about the beverages that were tolerable and ... BAD for young teeth. Specific choices that were intensely bad were Pepsi with the highest acidity ... and on the chart ... it's being compared to battery acid. So - I mused, maybe someone could market battery acid as a beverage. Think... "Cherry Acid Fizz"?

Product Acid table
The first number is the factor per 12 oz with Low=BAD acidity, the 2nd number is the relative level of Sugar present. Hence the indications for water are Zero and Zero. And at the bottom is Pepsi above battery acid!

Pure Water .....7.00 (neutral)..... 0.0
Barq's ............4.61 .................10.7 tsp.
Diet 7-Up .......3.67 ...................0.0
Sprite ............3.42 ...................9.0
Diet Dr. Pepper 3.41 ..................0.0
Diet Coke .......3.39 ...................0.0
Mountain Dew 3.22 ..................11.0 tsp.
Surge ............3.02 ..................10.0
Gatorade ........2.95 .................3.3 tsp

Orange Minute Maid 2.80 .........11.2

Wow - thank you for this. The Gatorade shocks me, our kids love it and we thought it was okay. Guess its not as bad as Pepsi though!

Just wanted to wish my darling wife a happy 34th wedding anniversary. She worked last night at the hospital and works tonight. We will celebrate it on the cruise. She is my soul mate and the reason I wake up in the morning. :cheer2:  She has to be wonderful to put up with me. Mike

Happy Anniversary lots of :love2:, and :grouphug: and pixiedust: to both of you from the West Coast - congratulations. and may you continue to be an inspiration to those up and coming. Have a good one!

For all you WDW vets, where is the best and cheapest place to buy park tickets? We are going to spend 4 days at the parks when we come back from the cruise, I have checked AAA, disney.com and the dis board. I need to find the best prices, I know my wife and son will break me on the ship    Any suggestions would be helpful... :teacher: :teacher:

We bought our tickets for WDW on base at Luke. Pretty decent savings. Bad part is you need to be active duty or . . . . . ?

Sorry, I know this has been posted before, but how do us Mac users post a graphic again??

Where is everybody tonight? Away for the holiday weekend? Partying? Hiding?

It's hard to believe that we are only 2 weeks (and a day) away from the cruise. And I'm still making name badges. Two more new people today.

Can't wait to see everyone!

Wow...I'm having a hard enough time with only having 2 months before the cruise...I could imagine booking with 2 weeks 'til the cruise.....I'd probably do this :faint:
