That's great, Cyndi!! Thanks for the help!!

I am excited, but too busy to really pay attention!

I did buy three pairs of summer shoes on clearance today! I'm gonna need a suitcase just for my shoes :rotfl2: Looks like 7 or 8 pairs might be enough....

Beth
:rotfl: :rotfl: I now! Me 2 on the shoes! I can never decide o which ones to take. I found a pair of gold heels marked down from $120 to $15!! You know I snagged em. I have big feet so I get lucky sometimes. I wear a sz 10 but my mom wears a 5 1/2. Go figure. I'm also 5'9 and she's barely 5' :rotfl: Don't know what I'm wearing them with but I'm sure I'll figure it out! I'm konkin' out for the night, I'm falling asleep on the laptop. Good Luck finding everyone! i would say that if they don't respond to e-mail or PM then don't worry about it. Something must have happened for them not to be able to go! Have a great night Beth! :cloud9:

Thanks, Cyndi. I'm out of here, too. Have to get up at 4:30, just 5 hours from now....ugh.

Just got in from taking my Granddaughter to Chicago to see Wicked tonight. I have to say it was as good the second time as it was the first. If you get a chance to go and see it, I would highly recommend it. We went to see it first, because we had heard it might not be appropriate for kids. Had a lot of posts to catch up on.
I need to get busy and figure out what we are going to take on this cruise!!! :confused3

We are renting in Antigua and Barbados....Stoutes in Barbados and Hertz in Antigua. Great rates from both! I booked them both over the phone..but will check next week to see if any rate specials have popped up. Both will meet us at the ship.

Let me know if you need more info!

Kristie

That's cool...

I'll be looking into those outfits right away... well, except Antigua we have a tour with Lawrence.

Thanx!!!! :thumbsup2

We did hotwire for our cruise 2 years ago and had great luck. This year we are staying at AKL the night before.

Actually ...

,,, we're retunring to Orlando in late October for a WDW visit - and we were thinking of staying at one of the in park properties... AKL might be one we consider...

Thanx! :thumbsup2

Ooo, don't you all get good bargains. The only thing I've managed to get here in UK is a skirt knocked down from £60 to £5.00

So, am I going to have to sleep in a hallway on the night of the 17th to get one of these??? :rotfl2: :lmao: :confused3 :teeth:

Can someone explain. Are these only available to those cruisers who take part in the slumber party, or are the slumber party pins different.

I thought these were the general ones, limited to one per person.

Heather
PS Thanks Tracy for the link to the newsletters. I'm having fun reading them all. :rotfl:

You're welcome. I believe the slumber party is just a joke. For the May repo last year the lines were always long for the limited edition pins so after one or two days, DCL released them all. The cruisers had to wait in link to receive a voucher to get the limited edition pins. The vouchers were to be handed out to the first 500 early the next day. So people lined up the night before so they could get the pins. This is why they called it a slumber party.

DCL learned really quick. For the August repo, they made enough pins for each cabin to get one set and took ordered the first week. We then stood in line to pick them up, but it wasn't nearly as bad. I doubt DCL would ever do it the first way again.

So sorry to say, no pin line Slumber Party on the Wonder. Now if people want to have a Slumber Party for some other reason... there's always that!

Off to work I go! We are now in single digits :cheer2: Nine more days and we'll be on the Magic. Kay I hope that system you spoke of yesterday won't affect either of the cruises. Four more work days left, but I have enough that has to be done for about a month's worth of work :sad2: Unfortunately that means not much time for the boards. Tonight I'll continue work on the newsletter and hopefully it will be out tomorrow

Have a great day everyone!

My name is Lindsay. My mom just booked this cruise about a month ago. I'm so excited. I can't wait. The best part is that I'll get to celebrate my Birthday on the cruise. :woohoo:

Does anyone know if there will be a college club (18-21 year olds) on the cruise? There was one on the Magic that i had just gotten off of. I met some awsome people. Hopefully I'll luck out again on this cruise if they have the group.

Welcome aboard Lindsey!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: I can't tell you anything about a college crowd or not. My son is only 4 - so not ready there. :teeth: But, I am sure you will meet some interesting people again and enjoy the cruise. You may want to check out the roster on Page 1 of the thread, Post 5 to see if you can find anyone around your age. Does it count that I feel like I am in college?? :goodvibes

I like that dress! I love the color! Your kid looks really cute. He looks like a real funnyman :rotfl: What was that pose he was striking? Too cute! Nice looking family :thumbsup2

Yes, he was making the camera man and lady laugh!! We had a serious one but, this one came out the best. He can be a big HAM sometimes. The pose was...I wiggle too much to keep my shirt tucked in and yes, I am a funny little man. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

You better check quick. I just called yesterday to check on getting a room for October and they are already selling out on the best rates due to the Food & Wine Festival, especially all of the FL RES RATES :sad2: We are still trying to decide on which weekend yet.

Heather

That sounds like a bargain to me. :thumbsup2

And, Good Morning everyone. :sunny: Now, off to get some breakfast and some time with DH and DS - they just woke up!

Good morning everyone! Hope Ernesto tames down and doesn't dump too much water on everyone. Looked like WV had water issues of it's own without this added precipitation coming along.
But hey, BIRMINGHAM, AL area women: Does anyone know a really good hair colorist that could squeeze me in on 2 weeks notice??? Anyone willing to deal with a perfectionist, slightly annoying former hairdresser that will likely tell them EXACTLY what to put on my hair? Heck, I could do it myself if I could see the back of my head!! :rotfl2:
o.k. I don't know how I did it but I didn't do this quote right......I tried PRETTY IN TINK!!!!! Anyways!!

Are you going near Lexington, KY??? Just off I-75, I have the best colorist there!! I even drive 70 miles ONE Way to see her!! Brooklyn Browning at Posh Salon, 859-269-7674!!! She is fun and would probably sit in the chair and have you try something different on her hair, :rotfl: evertime I go in she has a different look!! :teeth:

If that won't work my new neighbor is from Birmingham, I'll see her at our boys soccer game tonight, I'll ask her!! :thumbsup2

Here is a photo of our family - finally to add to the Roster. This is from our cruise last Dec. on Carnival. And, no I will not be taking this dress again! :rotfl2: and my hair is shorter (just to my shoulders now).

What a great picture....I vote for the dress too!! I really like it!! :thumbsup2

PIT... Are you still looking for pirate sword/cutlass. They had them at our Walmart yesterday for $1.93. Back in the toy aisle.

Safe driving to you over this holiday weekend.
