Scott, do you know if they ever finished the lodge there at Old Faithful? Know they did renovations. Talked with a guy tonight who said they were taking a trip out there Labor Day weekend. Train and such.

Interesting....I would love to hear more. One place still on my list of places to visit is Yellowstone! My DH of course wants to go buy an RV just for the trip... I keep telling him, we live in FL in a subdivision - where could we possibly park the thing.. anyway, I digress...Trains, yellowstone, lodge - that sounds like something I would like to hear more about...if you don't mind sharing.

We're already packed to go having just got in from Hawaii...

When we pulled in this evening our docs were waiting here for us! Wooo Hooo!

Of course, we're goinna launder everything and simply repack most of it for the cruise. Plus toss in some light formal wear and pirate stuff! Among other things... like the Bubba Mugs, kids gifts, Ice Cream competitor award certificates, etc, etc... etc! ya kno.. on 2nd thought we're gonna need another piece of luggage for this cruise thing!

I've been decorating our fish extender So much fun! I can't wait until we get to hang it up Just attaching the lasers for the "show" now

Note to self: I am glad I am letting my son decorate it and he is in the "young ones" contest.

I know I'd lose! I can't wait to see the show PIT!! But, you know that now you have at least a couple of others trying to find those Christmas lights/lasers/LCD projections to add to theirs.

Same if we had booked before we went little over 2k..

Far as I can tell DCL is offerring catagory 4-11 quads as of this morning... so our sailing may have upgrades available at the terminal if things don't change much in the next 2 weeks!

Below are prices for quads with 2 adults + a 2 and 5 year old in the cabin.

I moved my $250.00 OBC to the med trip
and think it is to late to move it back !

I just don't think for us personally a verandah room is needed. We stayed a deluxe family verandah room the first cruise we ever took with the kids and spent WAY too much money as we were NEVER in the room! When Kev and I cruise alone we are REALLY never in the room.
I will, however, have a bit of a dillema next september when we take my grandparents DCL-ing for labor day. They both smoke so I'm stuck with the ??? of making them truck it up to deck to smoke or getting them a verandah room. DCL doesn't have smoking rooms do they? They are chain smokers, unfortunately

And on the veranda thing we sort of worry with the younger child being such a "monkey" and climbing all the time! Git it? Plus we actually have a little more fun when we look on the whole thing as being a bit of a bargain too! SO we ARE mildly happy with our guarantee assignment of a catagory 11 (Yawn!) ... and might consider a pier side upgrade if it's a bargain of any sort!

I am finally caught up!! We had a Bday party to go to yesterday and Brunch and Dinner with BIL and SIL. Nothing like having someone call you and say, "Hey, just got some Tilapia, potatoes - how about I come over and fix it for dinner" What can I say - of course you can.... so while dinner was being fixed I was enjoying a Jazz (S&C). Nice evening. Of course, I need to find out with the BUCS won or not?
