We will be leaving Orlando and heading for the port. Will be up on the 15th to meet with friends from Alabama (we met them on our very first disney cruise), friends from the UK (met them at AS Sports many years ago, lol), and a quick hello to 2Canadians, who will be getting off the magic western on the 16th.

We're already planning to have a drink in Cove Cafe or the hot tub with 2Canadians :goodvibes

Prayers from Michigan as well. :grouphug:

Hi Everyone....
I need everyone's prayers...I'm sure you have all heard about the jet crash in Lexington, KY, there were 2 very special people on board, John & Scarlett, they were just married yesterday in a fairy tale wedding, they were so happy and today they were flying to their honeymoon in California. They were just a beautiful couple, and so wonderful, my boys just loved them and they loved my boys right back. They were so excited, they were going to Disneyland and then were set to go on the "Price is Right" Scarlett had even made custom t-shirts for the Price is Right!!

I have cried bucket fulls of tears today, I just can't believe it. Please say a prayer for them and their family.

Thank you,
Suzie

We are coming to Orlando early and spending DDs birthday (the 14th) at AllStar. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: We'll be doing WDW for 2 days (all 4 parks in a 2-day marathon!!) then renting a car and driving to port. Somehow we are going to smash our family of 5 and all the luggage into a full-size car. DH says that it will work---- but he hasn't seen how much I am packing yet!!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He's in for a bit of a shock..isn't he :rotfl2:

Well with the two of us and 3 DDs, I imagine that we will have a lot of luggage! This being our first cruise, I am sure that I will OVERPACK!

But we have to bring the pirate: outfits for everybody and the princess: outfits for the girls! and the kitchen sink.... :rotfl:

We can just bungi cord the luggage to the roof!!! Or maybe DH can ride on the roof! :rotfl2:

Are there any other first-timers on our Roster? It would be nice to know that we aren't the only ones overwhelmed. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3:

Haven't done the cove cafe yet. Wife and I do love coffee though. Our 4 year old granddaughter drinks the mocha frappachino's at starbucks with her mom :rotfl2: $4 cup of coffee is too rich for my old wallet. :lmao: Mike

This is our 6th Disney cruise and we over pack on all of them. Mike

This is our 3rd DIsney cruise and I am positive that we will overpack. On our first 7 night we had 6 bags for 2 people. For our second we had 6 bags for 4 people. As you can see I learned my lesson. I am hoping for only 4 bags this trip but a girl's gotta have her shoes, and her lotions, and her jewelry, and her dinner outfits, did I mention shoes?............................. :lmao:

So who will be in Orlando on the 16th?

DH and I will be there - get in late on the 15th. Staying at OKW, going to Scott and Lynn's get together and then going to California Grill for dinner and hopefully a peak at the fireworks.

We are on standby waiting for Hurricane Ernesto to hit us tomorrow - on Wednesday, if the mountains slow it down.

Just what we need at this time

We will. :cool1: get into Orlando at 9:30 am on the 16th. Will be staying at the airport Hyatt. Plan on getting a car and going to Scott's get-together at OKW and then dinner at the Rain Forest at DTD with MommaluvsDis and her DH. :thumbsup2

Doug & Carol

Kay hope that you weather the storm with no damage. Our oldest daughter was in Daytona Beach and is now heading home to Tennessee. Her first Florida vacation in years, such is life in the hurricane season. Mike

Good morning to all. Lots of new posts so too much to catch up on right now. Just wanted to wish everyone a ton of luck and prayers your way that Ernesto stays way East or dies out completely. All of you in its path are in our prayers for a safe week ahead.

After going thru Katrina, but more importantly, Rita last year, I can honestly say I know how all of you Floridians are feeling. Here's hoping you stay safe and sound.

With the anniversary of Katrina one year ago tomorrow, I hope everyone in Ernesto's path stay safe. Hope the storm dies down to nothing.
