We love the food network. Have you tried Rachel Rays Turkey Curry Burgers...they are fantastic. Emeril's Lamb Stout Stew is also great!
I just like watching Rachel cook. :teeth:

Black Angus beef is great. Raining here today, good coffee drinking weather. Trying to think of something good for dinner tonight. Guess that I will turn on the food network channel and see what looks good. Mike
We are having hotdogs. Quick and easy.
Raining here too, Mike. Hot Chocolate later. :thumbsup2

Matter of fact Cheryl, had that with dinner last night.
Rather have it at breakfast. With eggs and bacon and biscuits. Even grits.

I have the recipe if you would like to have it. We love it best at breakfast also, just the way you described.

Oh, you are my favorite person in the whole wide world. Buddy. Pal. :worship:
By all means send it this way. Or you could just whip some up and UPS it. :rotfl2:
(just kidding)

Great Tippy bling!

Well, life is rough. Have to get packing so I can leave for my cruise on the Wonder this Sunday with my mom and sister. This is my sister's first cruise ever!

I'll try to post from the boat. Figure I better check out that new waterfall!

I agree about the Tippy bling. (What cute pictures of her! bling or no bling, she's a doll.)

Have a great trip, Linda. What waterfall are you talking about?

Beth

Thanks to all who expressed concern/sympathy about my arm. I really appreciate it.

I saw the orthopedic doc today and I have a copy of my mri report. The greater tuberosity (which is the large bump near the head of the humerous) is broken -- not a hairline fracture, it is broken away from the long part of the bone. It's the part the rotator cuff attaches to and I also have three tendon tears and other damage.

So what do we do about all of this? Basically nothing. He called it "benign neglect." Have to wait 3 to 4 months for the fracture to heal. Doc thinks the tendon tears will also heal during that time. If not, I may need to have surgery later. (I hope he's right and they heal right up.)

I don't have to wear the sling except as needed to protect my arm and if it feels better (about like I wore it on the cruise). Doc said to wear it in public to keep people from bumping into me or trying to shake my hand, which is something I also did on the cruise and at WDW afterwards.

He wants me to keep my shoulder moving as much as I can without pain, including raising my arm over my head at least twice a day (which hurts, but he says to do it anyway). He was impressed with the range of motion I have now at almost one month after the fall.

I am to see him again in a month. Probably more x-rays, like I had today. The break was finally visible in the x-rays they took today. He showed me the ones from Oct. 2nd and it was not visible in them.

So I will just keep taking my pain meds and try to enjoy my next two trips (Nov. 10-13 and Nov. 23 - Dec. 7) with a broken arm/shoulder. Work is also interesting with a semi-functional right arm.

The bright spot in all this right now is that I pick Harry up at the airport tomorrow after work. I haven't seen him since the early morning of Oct. 2nd when we said good-bye at the airport in Orlando.

...too weird. One of the soccer moms is leaving tomorrow for a few days at WDW and then on to the Wonder Sunday - with her mom and sister! Do tell me your sister doesn't live in Cadillac, MI?

Oh Beth! :wave2: Pixie dust your way... enough for the next 4 months and then some! :tink:

My mom had this a couple of years ago, just before a trip to WDW. Talk about painful. They wouldn't put the arm in a cast because they needed movement. She wore a sling to avoid having people bang into it. I remember walking right in front of her when we walked kinda like a front guard!

She also took pain ned to make things bearable.

I hope you heal up quickly. Enjoy those trips!

Beth - I have been thinking about you and hoping that things were improving. Keep up with the exercises and I hope the pain lessens each day. Prayers, good thoughts and pixiedust: to you.

Beth-pixie dust coming your way. Hope the arm heals quickly and no surgery is needed. Glad you get to hook up with Harry again!

The waterfall is a new waterfall they were to put in the adult pool area while the Wonder was in dry dock! I'll get pictures!

Beth, sending you pixie dust!

Linda, hope you have a great trip. I heard the waterfalls will be from the hot tubs. Maybe they are just going to overfill the hot tubs and let it overflow :confused3 :lmao:

Good Morning All!

Beth, My best wishes for a speedy recovery. :goodvibes

Linda, I wish I were going with you. I'd be your Secret Mickey! :Pinkbounc

Beth ... That's good news (I think) ... keep up the healing!

Tippy ... you are such a cute "fur child".

OK Guys, I finally got a chance to get kinda caught up. Made it to Cheyenne, all OK, checked out some houses, and am in the midst of setting up a new off and all that goes with that project, new cell phone, it’s KEWL, a Treo, lots of whistles and buzzers, plus a new work vehicle, so lots of switching organizing etc etc etc…..

The House offer is alive and well, and it may just work out, we are on the counter offer marry go round. And it is getting better, not done but better. We did not even respond to the first ridicules offer. THANKS TO ONE AND ALL FOR THE GREAT THOUGHTS, means a lot.

Thanks for the jokes Peter, they do not surprise me, as when I was a National Park Service Ranger, I was always asked very interesting questions, like when do the Elk become Moose, or is that really snow on the Mountains,….

The camper is pretty darn comfy, no internet at the campground so will have to log on here at work when I can, My office is a real mess…….

Ivan, KEWL turtle pic, awesome dude….

Bob, great pics of Tippy, I remember the Covered Bridge Festival, fun time.

Mike, Diner sounds great, I think I am going for Tomato Soup tonight as it is snowing here today, the best part si it will be gone by tomorrow, a bit different that Jackson.

Beth, do take care.

Lynn will be down here on Friday, then the quest for a Castle will ensue.

Scott,

Glad to hear you made it safely.

Tomato soup sounds wonderful, I like mine with grilled cheese sandwiches. Nothing better, lol.

Safe travels to Lynn. Enjoy your house hunting.
