Alexis is beautiful, thanks so much for sharing that picture with us..

Elaine, you little brat, I am still doing laundry seeing as I had to ship clothes home as my suitcases would not close. They arrived today so it was back to the laundry drudgery...

Now if the rocking would just stop, life would be good......Tom says no more cruises for me... there must be a way around this rocking thing.....

I truly believe that DCL needs to have a 12 step program for withdrawel!

STEP #1

DCL SENDS SHORE SURVIVAL KIT THAT ARRIVED IN MAILBOX OCTOBER 5

Anyone else get theirs? DCL mailed USPS on 10/3 from Celebration, Florida, and it arrived in my mailbox 10/5. They paid $1.35 to send to me.

All I can say is......................

DUCKY!

Note to self: Book another DCL cruise when onboard the Wonder 10/22/06. Don't think I can be in withdrawal mode for the Med until 5/12/07 :moped:

YEP - Mine arrived in the mail also. Awesome

I had my two Stitch Lithos framed from the cruise and have no wall to put them on. Bummer...

D U C K Y !! is the correct expression !!!

Feel free to have them shipped my way, I have lots of open wall space. Robb teases me for my love of plain, white walls. ;)

Kay- how is Harry?

He is taking one day at the time. Chemo starts shortly.

I do believe that you need a large space for a certain item, don't you??

I would love to see a pic of it hanging on your wall

Hmmmm. Well, we did not see Babs. But we did go and see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. It was not hot and sweaty and we did not have to sit on wooden benches, but it was the next best thing. Very good show. One of the members,Frank Demond, has been with the ensemble for 41 years. Wow.
There was a guest performer with them Clint Maedgen. He sang and played sax. Quite good. His singing was different. Kinda reminds you of a 20's style. He was also part of the warm-up group that appeared in the lobby. The group was called the New Orleans Bingo and they used unusual instruments like a saw, kazoo and even a wiskbroom on an instument case. Neat.
Was a good evening. :thumbsup2

Everyone have a WONDERFUL weekend.

Bob, had nothing to do with this :teeth: x ta C :teeth:

Reminds me of a John Prine song :teeth: :teeth:

Hey we are almost unpacked and packing again starts tomorrow. This time I know I will forget something important.

Whilst unpacking we got to see all the really KEWL stuff, we received, WOW my Secret Mickey was Fantastic... Totally KEWL Stuff that I will treasure for years to come and some will find their way to a Tiki Bar yet to be built. It is these simple things that are very special to me.

We got our shoreside survival kit today. Got a postcard from Mickey when we returned home (because we rebooked onboard). Now I got a puzzle to do :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Scott...did the cactus make it home???? If so...I wouldn't mind finding out where it was from in Canada...although I believe it was purchased in the USA!!!!

Oh, I forgot to add...

We took our pictures to show my mom. About 3700. We got through about 2500 and mom thought we were done. She was tired!

Our stateroom host commented on it and I gave it to him. I did not want any of Tippy's relatives sniffing out the cactus and getting a thorn in the nose.

All it said was "Product of Canada"

I am enjoying my new flip flops.

We did get unpacked tonight.

Need to find a good utility to look at the media card with the missing photos. It is interesting as I can find a JPG file that is about 55 meg ??? The quest continues. This may becone a work learning project for me.

55 meg sounds pretty bizzare. Normally a failure is a totally dead card. Yet you have files?!? You think norton utilities can do anything for ya? Or what about Steller Phoenix Digital Media Recovery? http://digital-media-recovery.qarchive.org/ And here is a shareware link to recovery software. http://www.sharewareconnection.com/software.php?list=Flash+Memory+Software Otherwise I have no real experience with recovery attempts on a failed memory card.

Here is a link to a page with lots of ideas to try to recover damaged files or cards:

Good luck!
