Linda, also on Sirius Radio channel 31 and if ya get DISH TV channel 6031.

Join Bob and I for the next concert. It's KEWL !!!! Then again it is in INDY and I think Bob is going.

Then you will understand our little banter.

Roxanne is playing right now??? Is that the right channel?

Scott are you the one with the howling malumutes? If so - I want to hear! PLEASE PLEASE - sorry to butt in - - but all 3 of my kids love to torture my 2 babies by making them howl - one of my babies is an all white female and when she howls... er.... bays or whatever, she looks like your typical 1/2 seated white wolf that you see plastered everywhere on the Southern motifs. Have to admit - while I yell at the kids its kinda funny to hear her howl as they rarely rarely vocalize, and Chloe only does so to symphatize with her sister - Isis. Otherwise - she's my gentle loving soul. Can you tell I love my babies? :rotfl:

Our get wound up when it is feeding time. Gotta love them. Yuki, our eldest, when we got her she was the quiet one of her litter, boy did she fool us. She has since taught the others.

Moveover by Stepenwolf, playing now.

Yeah, I finally caught up reading all the posts I missed in a 3 hour period. You all have been busy tonight.

Well, I'm off for tonight so I can come back tomorrow morning and read 10 more pages.

Okay, I'm here. I know everyone else will be signing off now that I have finally gotten caught up on all the posts. That what I get for having a wonderful day with family running around the South Shore area of FL.

Anyone out there ever heard of BJ's - it is like a Costco or Sam's. Anyway, I went to my first one today - they are to open one in Tampa soon.

...

Yeah...

... we've been to a few. I sort of like BJs - too bad we don't have any near by where we are in Westlake Village (north of LAX by 38 miles). I recollect that they actually had SOME better prices then Costco - but not always - and they had a slightly greater selection.

HOWEVER, ys can't beat Costcos' no excuses - no time limit satisfaction guarantee on purchases! EG - I bought a 60" HDTV impulsicely a couple of years ago - a junky Philips - which at the time - I did not know was a not so hot brand. Well, after 3 months I began to notice the 3 guns (cyan, magenta- etc.) were drifting out of alignment. And the dang thing had a manual alignment protocol! It did not auto-align! So I had to reset it every few weeks. THEN I started to notice a projection defect... a triangular rainbow spray appeared in 3 of the 4 corners. I was quite annoyed - but by this time nearly 9 months had passed. Well... my old neighbor is a Costco manager - I queried him via email and he encouraged me to RETURN IT! I suggested this was potentially irregular as it has a HDTV... like... who ever heard of returning a bid screen after 9 months???? Well... he said to do it as it was their policy to refund anything (except computers) if I was not satisfied - no serious questions asked! So after musing this another month or two - I decided I did not want to be a "mark" for Phillips. So I selected a replacement and scheduled a delivery service to return it to the store. BUT I did not have the receipt - so I check with Costco and they were going to knock off about 25% w/o the receipt - I figured ... so what ... the thing was a defective dog. SO - as luck would have it my darling organized spouse FOUND the receipt 1 day before the return - and I got full value refunded!!! My new HDTV is an Epson 60" muti-media thing with a dye-sublimation printer and CDRW drive intergrated. So - I got the thing with 2 spare bulbs ... its' a tri LCD projection system - just like the new Sonys. So with the spare bulbs I have an estimated 30,000 hours of usage. That works out to (MATH ALERT!) 27+ years of continuious usage if used 3 hours a day every day. Which might be a high average for us. Shoot - in 20 years I'll be watching my kids finish or enter post-graduate school!

So - I am a Costco fan! Exceptions to this policy do exist in some stores - notably computers. You have 6 months to return a computer you're unhappy with at our local store. Which is still amazingly reasonable!

So - I don't know what BJs' policy is on returns... check it out before you defect to them!

My little girls have grass skirts - as I do (now)... if I get one for my dear spouse can she come along too? Or does that sort of spoil the atmosphere of the thing? My spouse can actually Hula and such as her Mom is 4th generation from Hawaii - and she grew up spending many of her summers there.

Ok, my measely $250 power bill is pretty lame compared to the bills posted here. $750 would have landed ds16 a date with the bathroom floor, scrubbing bubbles, and a toothbrush! :lmao: And $12,000!! My dh would have passed out! That's insane! I guess mine seemed like a lot because my brother also:let his new "girlfriend" dye her hair and drip it ALL THROUGH MY HOUSE on my 1 year old carpet, tore up my dh's truck to the tune of $980, things are missing-tools etc., a gallon of tequila that we have had for a year GONE, blew the speakers on our 60 inch tv, and rented a bunch of sports PPV on tv. And that's all of the things we have discovered so far. Who knows what else is lurking around the corner for us to find? He has NEVER done anything like this before and we had no reason not to trust him. Did I forget to mention that he also keeps our acre + 1/2 maintained for us and "forgot" to do $400 worth of work we had already payed him for? :furious: :furious: :furious:

:thumbsup2 :worship: Envy!

We just have a 55" Sony that my husband just had to have!! I am still trying to find something to put it in - I need to be able to hide it sometimes....and I just know that it will go out in about 2 years - only about 10,000 hours available I think :sad2:

Okay, I am going to be very busy tomorrow tampering with my electric meter outside - hey, I like the idea of getting about 3 months of electricity for free!! Okay, Captain, how'd ya do it? Just turned on the ol' charm, right???

Music:
Oh, yeeaah :goodvibes License to fly...wandering toes...I suppose..the need to focus never arose!!

Congrats Papa!!!!

I got maybe 15-20 years of indentured servitude to my kids before I can say the same - so - with good cheer I offer "WOO- Hooos" from the Westlake Village!
