I know about the 4 wheelers not paying attention....I feel that EVERYONE needs to go on just one trip in a semi, to see just how crazy people are and how close some of them come to becoming a statistic. I went on a short trip with my BIL (my SIL and her husband do the same thing that you and your DH do, but with Kennasaw)and it made me realize just what idiots people can be in regards to 18 wheelers!!!
I was with Volvo when the ITS was introduced...boy that was a long time ago...I must be getting up their!!!

Or drive from Cheyenne to Rock Spings on I-80 during the winter time. It is a scary world out there.

PinT, you should post a photo of your truck in case I see it whilst I am driving I-80.

Oh yeah, well I just noticed that I haven't had a day off for the past 12 days, :goodvibes have tomorrow off and SCUBA class to teach Sunday, I need a vacation, :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 there was a good article in our local paper that may help sell our house, or better said move more of the lower cost properties here in Jackson. In the real estate world of Jackson, WY there is no realy lower cost properties, just glad we bought many years ago. Our House shows again today. :thumbsup2

:bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!:bday: :cool1: :grouphug::dance3: :cake::banana:

:flower3:Enjoy your day of shopping and Cracker Barrel!!:thumbsup2

You know you are a Floridian when: You are thinking of repainting your house so it will go better with the blue tarp on your roof. :rotfl2:

Ok, so I have been the butt of a joke :cool1: Just know that if I called my ds "step" it would really hurt his feelings! I knew that drawing attention to my age would trample my credibility here! :rotfl: My dd is 19, go ahead, take your best shot! :rolleyes1 :listen: I'm tough, remember I drive truck!
Papa- we will be heading straight through Nashville in about 43 more miles. We will do our best DCL horn impression with the air horns as we pass through for you!
And for the record, MY BRATS think I'm the KEWLEST! :grouphug:

I like it!...OK Ladies and Gents, word to the wise, DON'T MESS WITH A SOUTHERN GIRL. No matter what age, like the old saying down south, THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN and it ain't goin be pretty. All I can say PIT is when I meet your DH I'm going to call him MR. Kevin (I hope my mem. did not fail me). Anyone that can land a fireball like you at his & my age has earned my respect....enough said.

Plus you should take most of the credit for the 16 yo turn around in school, if he is like my and most everyone else's teenagers, old folks, DH and I, they think that we are dumber than the rock we just climbed out from under. He could still relate to you since you are still young enough to be kewl or hip or whatever they are saying these days.

Tried to post this last night while you were not driving, so maybe Kevin will pass this along while you are behind the wheel..

Drive careful...

FYI - last night, a tornado went through my sister-n-law's (in Lakeland) subdivision. Fences were torn out and up, trees destroyed, etc. I haven't checked the news to see what else yet. It's Tropical season!
!!

All jokes aside, tornado's are what scare me. At least we get some warning with the hurricanes. I hope all is well.

Good morning folks. Drove to the beach last night, which was killing me at midnight but it sure was nice to take the dog for his walk this morning with the ocean as our backdrop.

Big plans this weekend to work on my post-cruise plans for wdw. I want to make sure our dinner plans aren't right in the middle of the parades or fireworks. We've decided to fly Bill's d-sister 13 down for the wdw portion of the trip. We were going to add her for the cruise but figured we'd start small with wdw and add her to the cruise next year if all goes well. We've got experience with ds-8 but no experience with teenage girls. My paraglegal swears they are an entirely different experience from raising boys.

I'm behind in my 5 post a day so i'm going to try to double up this weekend. We'll see if it works.

:bday: Margaret. I'm looking forward to metting your DD, DPD soon and maybe one day you too! have a great birthday :Pinkbounc

What is everyone doing the day before? I know about Scott's Wine and Cheese meet and the Rad. meet and the Celebration tour...but what about everyone else. As for us, we will be driving down Sat. morning to WDW, we have res. at the POP CENTURY. We are planning on going to DOWNTOWN Disney for a little shopping, my wife loves the Christmas shop (our tree is nothing but DISNEY) and we promised our 5 yo he could go to the LEGO store.

We are getting up Sunday and having breakfast with CHEF MICKEY at the Contemporary and then driving on to the port. The last time we left early from WDW and ended up sitting in the car until about 10:30 or 11:00...they would not even let us pull into the parking lot until then.

What do you know, I did....Woo hoo for me, it's my first!

We'll be spending our regular Saturday at home with all the family before we leave. (DFIL,DSIL,DD,DFILcareperson,Bubba and Mo')
We will go to early Mass at 7:30 Sunday morning and then on to breakfast. We'll head over to the port about 10:00 am or so. I figure the mom-mobile will be chock full of stuff for this trip.

I would be a very poor man if I lived as close as you do to WDW...unless I worked for Disney, which almost happened a few years back. I sent my resume's to Disney for something in the WINE & LIQ. Purchasing dept., but nothing ever came of it. We were going to move to a little town outside of Orlando to help start a new Church, but the housing market was out of our league. I know, I'm in the liq. business, but we still are members of one of the largest Churchs in B'ham. It's not the drinking of adult bev. that get you, it's only if you let it control your life. Which if you have a problem, I will not sell it to you. PERIOD! I have been doing this for over 17 yrs and I have said no to several people. Sorry about the rant.

Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited. :dancer: party: :jumping1: :cheer2:  Just booked this cruise for myself (Bev) and DD (Lindsay). I only have 474 pages to read. :rotfl2: We are going on the 8/19 cruise and now this one only one month later. I am  crazy, but in a good way.

Bev :sunny:

We're going to have breakfast on Saturday on the MAGIC!!!!!!! then pick up Hygiene99 at the airport, Celebration and then OKW for the Wine & Cheese meet. We'll be back at the port on Sunday to drop off the car and meet all of you :thumbsup2
