Can't cancel the Radisson. That's where all the fun will be.

Au Contraire Roberto, mi amigo, OKW ROCKS!!!!!!! Party ON DUDE. Aren't we going to try to do a web link??

RE the Muppets, I wonder if Frank Oz will be on board, would like to meet him I would.

Capt Crash - glad to see you back - assuming you made your trip safe and sound? We tried to wait for you but when your spot got snagged we decided to up your ante for you - what's better than #6900 - you guessed it - #7000. :cool1:

And the race is on - I'm checking out for a while as I have chores to perform and nothing better than just plain laziness keeping me from it - hey I know - maybe I'll play my DVD on how to operate my Canon Digital EOS 30 D so that I know how to take pixtures on it during the cruise. I am just coming from conventional to digital - hence the ignorance on new-fangled technology.

Hopefully this will be it for while - :wave2:

Yes, they were.

Now Elaine, how do propose keeping DPD out of trouble? :confused3
Hmmmmmmmmmm!

So, I see that you have a caretaker on this cruise Leslie. :teeth:

My dh says Marianne, hands down. Better to take home to mama, he says.
I want to talk about the cruise too, I'm just too scatterbrained to think of anything to ask or bring up that hasn't already been mentioned. I guess I could throw out there that we might cancel ressies for Raddison and change to Orlando because dh wants to go to outlet malls for last minute cruise clothes shopping. Not quite decided yet, but I kind of want to stay on property at maybe WL or AKL or GF (dream away, dh says). He wants to stay at WL. Who knows where we end up. We haven't canceled Raddison yet. Not sure if we will yet. :confused3

Don't forget if you decide to stay at WDW...join us at Scott & Lynn Wine & Cheese Party at OKW!!!!!

P.S. The WL is BEAUTIFUL......it is by far my favourite resort (that is after the Mouse House!!!)

Edited to add....ohhh!!! a top...and I didn't even have to try for it!!!!!!!!!!

Fascinating....

We'll look into this. DO you suppose we can use our Bubba mugs to administer the apple juice, drinking olive oil mixed with lemon juice, and epsom salts mixture(s)? ;)

Thanks!!!!! :thumbsup2

I'm sure it will accomodate the concoction quite nicely! I might do it right before the cruise for a pick me up. I also forgot to mention that you actually lose a few pounds with this flush. We have our granola crunching-echonechea(sp?)taking-coloidial mineral swigging friend Mark to thank for this one, he has tried it all. I think he's trying to pickle himself so he'll live forever!

I guess I could take this opportunity to brag on my ds16 (actually my stp sn but we are very close). He has just been chosen to be a student ambassador for his school to Portugal, France, and Morocco. Dear old dad and I are both doing cartwheels as this child was a D student just 2 short years ago (what a difference homeschooling on a big truck for a year can do for a kid). He is very excited as are we. Anyone know anything about Portugal? I'm gonna have to do some research. We are beaming proud at this accomplishment. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I've been to Lisbon Portugal and, of course France. They are warm and very pleasant (in Portugal) and sort of OK in France. I like their museums and the musicians in the Parisian Metro cars. Far more charming and novel then annoying - but some locals sort of sneer at them. Sad.

At any rate, harty CONGRATULATIONS to your son on such a notable assignment as ambassador!!!! He is gonna have a great time - I presume - visiting these countries. TO ME ... Morrocco would be a real bit of adventure as it take you to the African continent - if only for that little northern toe hold of a visit... it's still another continent (which I have not set foot on ... yet). SO I figure this will empower him with a unique and fresh perspective on our global community (well at least he'll have had exposure to the cultures of these three countries). Frankly, after getting about a bit I come home seriously appreciating what we have - and I miss a little of what we don't enjoy - like the lazy vacation time rich years many europeans seem to have. Oh well, it ain't all that bad if I get my Disney Annual pass out and hit the parks + if I get a little time on one of the DCL ships every now and then! :thumbsup2

SO -- congrats -- Congrats -- CONGRATS!!!! to your son on his selection as Ambassador! DOes this get you diplomatic license plates for your truck(s) and little French or Morrocan flags to fly off the fenders? It should you know - then you can speed anytime and park anywhere ... Ohhh YEAH!!!! :cool1:

Oh... it doesn't .... well then ... it still gives him some very unique experiences and a rare feather for his resume! :wizard:

OK... gotta go run mny daughter to gymnastics now. Awww shucks - the way the thread is goin' I won't be around when it rolls up to 7,000! C'mon folks ... can we slow it down a bit until I get to my hotel tonite at about 10 or 11pm? I gotta go gymnastics for the next 90 minutes and then breeze out almost immediately to hit the road for the hotel - about 2.5-3 hours drive away. And before I hit it I'll stop for dinner - so I'm off line for the next 4-5 hours?!?!?!? Except for a brief look on line before I shut the notebook down - to take with us!

Don't know. Would be early and/or late. Would be nice.
Plan on being hungry at 5:00 and at Grills.

Frank Oz. Oh yea, the property room warden in the Blues Brothers movie.

I know, and I'm already signed up for the meet and everything! I'm trying to get my tightwad dh to just go to Nordstrom, sit in a big comfy chair, and let them bring the clothes to him! But he just loves those darn outlets! It hit him all of a sudden today that we HAD to go there so he could get some new shirts for dinner (to add to the 500 he already owns :rolleyes1 ) We haven't decided yet though.
I would love to stay at the WL. We went to the Whispering Canyon and loved it and the atmosphere! My dh is a mountain man at heart!
Ok, since we are playing the how old are you game, anyone care to guess how old I am or in what year I was born? I'll bet you a Konch Kooler no one can guess! :listen:

Well, I could just read your profile, but that would be cheating. :teeth:

Frank Oz. Oh yea, the property room warden in the Blues Brothers movie.

That's the guy also the Warden in Blues Brothers 2000, and Spies Like Us and Trading Places, and has directed severl other films. Creative guy, then again anybody that worked closely with Jim Henson would be.

The service can't be beat at Nordstrom :rolleyes1

If you ask, an associate will even go up to the Espresso Bar or Cafe (depending on which store) and bring him a drink!

It is kind of gross but when dh was having gall bladder attacks he was begging for some olive oil! :rotfl2: You are only "indisposed" in the AM as you drink the stuff before you go to bed and all the "action" happens at night. ;) I wouldn't reccomend walking around just sipping it from the ol' bubba keg, you might be running to the nearest facility! Really, its not as bad as it seems

While you're there maybe you'll want to add to your son's wardrobe as well.
