At least they've been taking it slow today. I think we've only had 3 or 4 pages of posts vs. the 10 or more we had yesterday. :rotfl2:

AAHHH - Scott - I have got to meet you while on board CUZ....only a true OZ freak would be able to recite such a momenteous line like that off the tip of his tongue! :teeth:
The guy knows everything. :wizard:
I haven't been able to trip him up yet. I don't think.

Hi P-I-T - thanks so much for the info. In fact that was the reason that I'd waited, I have a friend that is into homeopathic medicine and she was always telling me to flush but was never able to give me a jumping off point. Now - I have it - as for the containing, I do real well unless my kids are stressing me out and that's actually what has been happening the last 3 weeks - otherwise, I was going about 2-3 months with only slight attacks. Workable with vicodin pills or hot baths. So I considered myself lucky until July - then again - as mentioned, I had 3 b-days, 1 anniversary, 1 poker get together and a MOMENTEOUS (sp?) emotional rollercoaster - all in all - NOT a normal July!

LIke you I'd give anything to avoid surgury! :rolleyes1 Don't react well to anethesia. (sp?) Oh well - NOTE to oneself: short short notes - my #3 :bounce:
Definitely give it a try! My dh hasn't had any trouble with his since doing this and the enegy afterwards is incredible! Good Luck to ya!

At first thought it had to be a teenager - but then realized like you all - we're all young at heart!!!!! :rotfl: :Pinkbounc

Well, its either that or we're all mentally deprived of Disney and we all know that we're not that !

Boy....were you guys ever talkative last night.....I had 5 pages to catch up on before I went to work.
....and I will make sure that Leslie does not go overboard and makes it back to our room safely every night...or will that be every morning.... :rotfl2:
Yes, they were.

Now Elaine, how do propose keeping DPD out of trouble? :confused3
Hmmmmmmmmmm!

Did someone say OZ? I am the biggest oz fan there is! I have my name on a brick on the yellow brick road in Liberal, Kansas! I have always been a fan ever since I was little. I used to just watch WofOz over and over again. I own 2 dorothy costumes, have a guest bedroom in our house with all of my collectibles, and actually danced to a little known song that was cut from the movie back in my pageant days for the junior miss pageant in my hometown.
I swear sometimes I think I was meant to be a gay man because of my love of all things Judy Garland. I cry whenever she sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". What a talent, and what a loss. :sad2: Ok, Oz'ers, what song (and part of a scene) was cut from the original movie because they thought it would "terrify" audiences? This one may be too easy..
On my 1st trip ever to WDW I was determined to see the ruby slippers and as fate would have it the person who had them on loan to MGM took them back a week before I got there. I just got to stare into the empty case at the great movie ride and CRYCRY CRY!! :sad2:

Oh everyone! - I made my goal and I'd already given up of ever achieving my post at the top of the page win! :dance3:

Guess the old adage of when you least expect it - {try my hardest only to hand it over to Capt Crash! (who'e proabably over the Pacific right now!) Many safe pixiedust: to you) } you get it!

I know in the grand scheme of things this victory is worthless but whatever floats your :boat: right!

Me doing the Happy banana dance after one two many Smirnoffs!

Hey there - While I call myself a freak I have come to the realization that I'm not all that of a freak. :guilty: I'm sorry to say that I have no clue - but I do have all the Marie Osmond Baby Tots dolls that took me years to hunt down. I'm jealous of your room - that was my next goal upon remodeling the house but unfortunately ::MickeyMo won the library and my youngest objected to a Wizard room - DH said he spent the 1st 12 yrs with Dorothy staring at him from over our bed (hung my throw) and he wanted a break for the next 12 . :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

As someone says: KEWL!!! :rotfl: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

#6 or #7 lost count

PIT - I have a shot from my pre-semi-fanatic days of when the slippers were on display - I too was SORELY disappointed last Sept when I didn't see the shoes and found out they had been taken just shortly before my arrival. However, I will try and hunt down my pix of then if you need your :drinking1 (Was that too cheesy for 'shot?) I just love them emoticons!

In fact, - so disappointed I didn't enjoy the ride and almost got off
LOL - OK - now I know I'm crazy -

BTW - how'd you like Katherine McPhee's rendition of Somewhere of the Rainbow on AI? As cheesy as it may sound, she made me cry!

Beautiful!!!!!! :sunny:

PIT - I'll post my curio if you post your room when you get a chance? I want to drool over memorabilia!

SIGH! - back to ::MickeyMo

Any other OZ'ers out there? C-mon fess up - I know your all out there in hiding - if you can admit ::MickeyMo then this will be easy!

Dare I mention it or not? Shall a mtg be held? LOL - JK - I'll stand if awe of anyone who can recite movie lines and has a WHOLE room to display - I'll stand back and lurk - I'm used to that! :thumbsup2

There - I'm done - now the rest of the day is free and I can now go and mop up the water bowl my Isis (husky) deliberately drop cuz I was late for their walk! Off to do my daily chores!

I'm off to the Wizard........er.... I meant the ::MickeyMo

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

(Sometime I just quack myself up) Hey - I had to get like this somehow didn't I? :p

Elaine, say happy B-day to your mom for us. Even if it is early.
Mickey&JoshNut said:
Mom says thanks...

But, when is Margaret's birthday? I went back to the 14 day thread and could not find it. I do remember her getting a "birthday cake" on the cruise. :rotfl2:

eeyorelvr10, Laura, hey we are on the ship for 11 days, I am sure we will run into each other at a DIS meet or two. Look for the guy with underwater critter Tattoos on his right leg. Or just read the KEWL name tags. LOL

Don’t worry Kborn, I have been eating “good” as in correctly since Monday. The week before was a disaster, late shift and plenty of carbs available. Getting lots of exercise. Will be good this whole month for sure, and maybe into Sept.

Bob ya did get me on one thing, just can’t remember what it was.

I am not an Oz fanatic, but I could see a bunch of DIS folks with their Lanyards and Bubba Kegs singing “We represent the lollypop guild.” :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

Was the cut song something about Jitterbug sung by the Wicked Witch to a flying Monkey??? I gotta quit watching AMC. Really I am not an OZ fanatic, really, those darn monkeys scarred me to death as a kid. I like old movies. They don’t make them like that anymore, well they do but only a few qualify, I think POC will be a classic. popcorn::

Oh KEWL be my thing, I also still use groovy. LOL :hippie:

When I was looking thru the 14 day thread I noticed the following posts...
#15891 Leslie announces the 11 day cruise to the board
#15948 Elaine suggests that they share a cabin
#15984 DPD more or less accepting the arrangement.

I think that they were planning on being roomies all along. :)

Here all this time I thought it was because I suggested it...#4575
then Elaine sandbags us again...#4582

Don't know if I can trust these two or not. :confused3

Not a true OZer, of course I think the movie is magic, but I don't collect or anything. I do have an autographed copy of Roger S. Baum's "Lion of Oz and the Badge of Courage". Roger did a book signing at the MGM Grand in Vegas a few years ago, I happened to be in the right place at the right time.

PIT, congrats to you and your step son. You should both be proud. Hopefully you won't experience 'attitude creep'. Last November my son was inducted into the National Honor Society, the Tri-M Music National Honor Society and the Spanish honor society. Since then, it's impossible to tell him anything...cuz, of course, he knows everything.

Mangos were on sale here and I made orange mango soup to go with diner tonight.

Oh conch chowder , I prefer red, and a good conch sald is tasty, then there is cracked conch and conch fritters, starting to sound like a line outta Forrest Gump.
