Now there's an idea..... I don't want to end up overboard like on some of those OTHER cruise lines ,,,,,

It's so sweet that ya'll are SO concerned for my welfare.... I'll tell Joe he can rest easy knowing everyone is taking care of me. Heck.. maybe I'll even go horseback riding....

1) Favorite beverage = Diet Coke
2) Favorite Color = Blue
3) Favorite Childhood Character (it can be non-Disney ... if U dare!) = Bugs Bunny - Sorry, folks, but my DM & DD were not much into Disney, but I was a Mouseketeer....Fan Club
4) Favorite Disney Dish (spouses are a valid option) = I know this really doesn't qualify, but I never have eaten the same thing twice at the restaurants, but...I ALWAYS have to get the Hot Dog, Drink and chips special deal at Magic Kingdom - don't ask me why...it's a tradition I guess.
5) Favorite moment from ANY cruise (or vacation for those 1st timers out there!) = I have two. 1) First time I saw Paris on an excursion during a Mediteranean cruise and then doing lunch on a boat traveling down the Seine. I still want to go back there again and stay awhile.

Well, that leads me to another question....haven't checked if its been discussed (so please let me know if there is a thread on this somewhere) but does anyone have any particular recommendations on those motorola or cobra radios (or any other brands)? I've never used one and don't know how many different frequencies they are capable of using...guess if they are limited trying to use them on a ship might be a bit challenging...

any thoughts?

We always (um, unless we forget) take our Motorola's with us. We have always had great reception. We actually had a very funny moment on a cruise to Alaska with them. There were wonderful sights in the water (dolphins, seals, whales) at the time so everyone went to the railings and of course if you were stuck further back it was harder to see. We were trying to watch and then saw that people along the railing had Motorola's and were using them. We found their channel, and drove them crazy saying things like "Hey, you,get out of our way...Yes, you in the Red jacket, sit down and share the view." Of course, we were laughing the whole time, and it was hard for our group to keep a straight face when they turned around to find the culprits... I really think they were enjoying it too, well, I think so anyway. I know we were!!

Okay, everyone, go out and get the Walkie Talkie's now...they'll really be talking about the group then...
