Am I up to my 10 yet?

There is no time to post. I'm dizzy just trying to keep up with all the reading.

As we get closer it seems we are getting into cruise frenzy. LOL !It is fun but I'm a little slow. popcorn:: Still trying to get Jammies, pirates, and all together.

Oh, I figured the grass skirt fraternity would be at Signals the whole cruise and that they could post a list there and be the "floor monitor" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

(I edited the list and took off 9)

Thanks Tigger&Bubba, got you down for 8.

Looking now for 5 and 6.

Peter, one more thing to add to post #5! HA

I love all of this activity...but, I'm not sure I can do 10 posts a day! But, of course, for the team, I will make every effort!! :grouphug:

I'm off to the gym now...need to feel okay putting on that swimsuit!

Then, I'm going to run by Walmart to see if I can find the Bubba mugs...can you imagine the caffeine rush if we drank one filled with coffee at the jammie breakfast?! :rotfl2: :moped:

By the way...where are the bubba mugs located?? Front, back, summer stuff, household items????

I can commit to at least one post a day until about Sept 5th or 6th. Then I'm off to visit Mickey at his house :earsgirl: I get back home on the 10th and have to get ready for 11 days in paradise!

Oh what the heck, make it two :rotfl: I have plenty of time to make door signs, make a fish extender, go get a bubba mug, etc, etc.

Going absolutely  with work ... not bad enough our staff has dwindled down from 8 to 5 to 4 and lastly to 3 (2 Reps and the Boss) well for the last month it's only been ONE Rep - ME and the boss cause the other girl is out on maternity leave and not set to be back until the week before the cruise. Half the time I'm lucky if I know my name!

BUT I just had to get a quick DCL fix in ...

Mike (PaPa) has been keeping me up on some of the stuff you are doing.

About the BUBA MUGS ... to personalize them maybe something like the things you put on wine glasses would work on the handle or maybe little tags that you wire tie to the handles! ... just a thought.

Do the BUBA MUGS come with diapers? Hey all that liquid has to go somewhere.

Sure just when I get a roll on doing a post the *:*:*:*'d phone rings. :furious:

I found the Bubba Mugs back in the summer stuff in the clearance aisle. I walked the whole store twice before I found them.

And if I remember correctly, they almost didn't even make the shipment back to Robin and then she had to carry the heavy box to the ship 'cause she didn't have time to ship them to the ship ahead of time.

Yip, you have that correct !! :teeth:

I guess I wasn't at 10 posts for the day yet. I only had six...ok, now seven :teeth: I'll try to do better later.

To all the newbies....get your e-mail addresses to me!!! My address is twhipple@fastmail.fm. Include your DISboard name. That way you can get the newsletter coming out on Saturday (plus all the back issues). Thanks!

Holy cwap? how did that happen, me and my big mouth. :rotfl:

How do you think I became the keeper of the cell phone list?? It just happened and all of a sudden I started getting cell phone numbers....which I will compile & email two weeks prior.

HEY T- here is a tip for the newsletter and everyone reading right now...

Did you know that many of the cell phone companies with "nationwide" coverage will allow you to call home from St. Thomas without roaming fees? I know Sprint does- or atleast they did with my husband's plan. I think T-Mobile may as well.

I just checked and Bubba Mugs and Kegs are available in Canada...I'm going to check out Canadian Tire on my way home tomorrow to see these things in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we really should take a group picture....how about at the same time as our PJ Breakfast picture!! :rotfl2: How could they refuse a picture of all of us in our PJ's on a cruise ship with our Bubba Mugs and Kegs!!!!!

For those who need LOTS of coffee in the morning- this is your opportunity! Robb is one of those people.

That's a good thing to know. We and our family that is staying here all have T-Mobile, so if that's true and it covers us that will help on the phone bills some.

Thanks for the tip!!! :thumbsup2

On another cruise there was a mistake on the pins !! :badpc:
the whole batch had to be redone !! :rolleyes1
if this happens we could also run into problems pirate:

Please send in PAYMENT .. :grouphug:

I hate to sound mean but I think there should be a cut off date for payment real soon and anybody who hasn't paid doesn't get their pins ordered. :sad2:

Carol

I inhaled my lunch- lovely sandwich and I am getting ready to recover a patient who is coming out of the OR....

All I remember about tag is one day I came back to my room and there were THREE  tag magnets on my door. I then had to run around an place all three and try to put them with people who hadn't had them. I took 2 and gave 1 to Robb and we ran around.

It's still hot here. I can't wait for it to be cooler. I would like to live in a land where it got no hotter than 78 degrees.

Back to work.

EDIT: Those of you looking for costumes- try EBAY. I have all my stuff now...to be the wenchy pirate that I am. Although I do would like a sword sash, a sword (I think it will have to be plastic) and I need guns- 2 to be exact. :lmao: I also ordered 2 small wench dresses for my nieces- as my sister will be in Palo that night for her B-Day . I get to pretend I have girls for one day- they are goint to sleep over & everything!

T- BTW, we need to add 2 B-days for 9/24 Andy from Charwac & my sister Forthwife.

Gotta run, my patient is rolling down the hallway.

I know most of us already know this information, but just got my email of the latest DVC newsletter and here's what they have to say about our cruise:

Enjoy new experiences on Southern Caribbean cruises
Disney Cruise Line® has created a variety of new shows and entertainment experiences, including a new show starring the Muppets, exclusively for its 10- and 11-night Southern Caribbean sailings.

The 10-night sailing departs on Sept. 7, 2006, while the 11-night voyage sets sail on Sept. 17, 2006.

In addition to visiting Disney's Bahamian paradise, Castaway Cay, Guests cruising on these special voyages visit Caribbean ports not frequently visited by Disney Cruise Line, including St. Lucia, Barbados, Antigua, and on the 11-night sailings, St. Kitts.

Among the new entertainment offerings onboard for these voyages is Muppets Ahoy!, a live variety show in which Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and The Swedish Chef take to the stage of the Walt Disney Theatre. And what would a Muppet performance be without a bit of cynical commentary from the balcony, courtesy of the chronically cranky Statler and Waldorf?

Other new shows performing in the Walt Disney Theatre during these voyages include the On the Nose Game Show, an original game show that rewards contestants who come closest to the correct answer (the audience gets involved with prizes and a bit of "prize dealing"), and Disney - The Art of the Story, where Disney magic and storytelling turn a lion into a king and a beast into a prince through music, dance, emotion, light, sound and color.

Beyond the Walt Disney Theatre, the Southern Caribbean voyages include the new "Mouse 2.0" deck party, which turns Decks 9 and 10 into a festive beach party complete with games, music, characters, food and prizes; and informative cooking demonstrations and wine seminars, featuring celebrated chef Roland Muller (from the Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot®) on the 10-night sailing and noted restauranteur Michael Jordan (from the Napa Rose Restaurant at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel®) on the 11-night voyage.

And we all already know this too, but here's what DVC has to say about the Flying Dutchman.

See the Flying Dutchman at Castaway Cay
The Flying Dutchman, a 175-foot-long pirate ghost ship created for Walt Disney Pictures' Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, has landed at Castaway Cay, where it serves as a dramatic photo backdrop for Disney Cruise Line Guests.

The ship, visible to Guests walking to the Family Beach and available for even closer views through water excursions from the island, features ragged sails, a barnacle-encrusted bow and other haunting details that make the vessel appear to have been raised from the ocean floor.

Alert Guests may even catch a glimpse of the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow as he keeps a lookout for the ship's commander (and Jack's new nemesis), Davy Jones.

JOHNNY DEPP AT CASTAWAY CAY!!!! Looks like I am taking a swim................. :fish:
