Cave Creek.
We spent a week there a few years back. Stayed at the Villas of CC. Nice area. Had a great time. This is the place where we were introduced to pepper beer and javelinas. Nice mexican restaurant there. Can't remember the name, but it had a pond on the inside.
Bob,

We have been to this restaurant every year for the last three years and enjoy it every time we go. Quincy likes feeding the ducks and Michael and I enjoy the margaritas and chips & salsa!!! :cool1:

Totally not related to this cruise, but for football fans . . . . .

We went to purchase season tickets for the Arizona Cardinals the other day because the new stadium is ten minutes from our house. Can you believe they are sold out?!?!?!?! These guys have averaged like 25,000 since we moved here in 1998! Guess the old saying "if you build it they will come" is true.

It's looking like it will be a whole lot easier, and cheaper, to get Diamondback's season tickets, though. :guilty:

 Hey I was wondering. DH & I did the Wonder the year it came out and have done the Magic ever since, this time when our TA was booking dinner reservations, Disney asked her if we wanted 8, 8:15 or 8:30 pm. Does anyone know that they were talking about? I had our TA book 8:30 as that the times we have been eating on the cruises. Did someone's wires get crossed? I tried reading the posts but after 75 pages my eyes crossed. I have no clue what this means, did Disney change their starting times? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks - Laura (Lost and :confused : )

Welcome, new folks, Glad to have ya aboard. Tracy with the news letters and Peter with the page 1 updates, They do a great Job, will get ya up to speed.

Pirate stuff for sure...

Welcome!
Dining times are now staggered. This is why you were offered a choice. They say it helps the "flow" of dinner and avoids people in lines outside the dining room. See you at 8:30 :)

Well nice to know we wont be dressing up for pirate: night alone. What about 60s, 70s, 80s night. Anyone?

Another escaping Mom here. Can't wait! This will be my 4th DCL cruise, and the second this year! A new record. This time, leaving the HS student home with Dad, and sailing with the girlfriends.

Just thinking about the challenge the Wonder crew will have on this unaccustomed long cruise. New menus, new shows, new tastings, tours, etc. New for them anyway. How do you think they will handle it? Maybe borrow the Magic crews for some of it?

Hi Diana

Just an FYI for everyone. I'm up to date on the name tags and right now it looks like we have 94 cabins and 240 people on the cruise list.

WOW we are getting a bunch of folks, KEWL!!!

From past experience the crew looks forward to the new routes, there may be a bump or two but all will carry on in stride.

Just had a scare, my office scheduled PT, Qualifications, and Division Meeting during this vacation. Normally these are during the first part of Sept. They should give us more than two months notice. Command staff said enjoy the vacation.... YES!!!!!

I do know that some of the Shutters staff from the Magic will be coming over to the Wonder to help out........ I talked to a few other crew members, though, who said there was "No way" that they'd go over to the Wonder, even for a short time. They were afraid they'd get reassigned and have to stay.
They don't like the quick turn-arounds.

Please put my family down for the youth fish extender contest. We're (ok, my guys) are huge baseball fans & we're doing ours with that theme.

Have a good week!

My dh will have to break out the parachute pants and members only jacket for 80s night! Anyone care to join us?  :dance3: Just seeing if we are the only ones....

Be sure to get your requests in for fish extenders if you want to be a part of the contest and have someplace for the fish extender elves to leave your gifts. :cool1:  :rotfl2: :lmao:

Many will be dressing for Pirate night so you won't be alone. pirate: :cheer2:

Carol and Doug

Carol and Doug,
How did the fish extenders get started? The main thread has a question about them. I answered what they were but I have no Idea how they came into being. Did you start them? :sunny:

About mid-May, my family ventured to the local post office with our original birth certificates and marriage license to file the paperwork for our passports for this trip. The postal clerk says that the State Department requires our original documents for processing. Yesterday, I receive my husband's and my son's passport. They got their "official documents" back. Where's my passport? Where's my birth certificate? I'm freaking out :furious: about if I get neither, I can't go on the cruise. Anyone else with this problem?

Sandy
