I'll have to take a look at that. I really wanted to go to the Caves in Barbados and then to the rum factory.

On St. Lucia, there is so much I want to do. I was thinking of looking into a private tour that would do all the thinks I want. I want to see waterfalls and rainforests and would like to see the volcano and the cities a bit. There is a great tour I found people talking about at Cruise Critic at www.cosoltours.com (I think). Anyone interested?

Also on St. Johns I want to see more of the island and do some snorkeling. Haven't really decided on St. Kitts and will be doing the Extreme Circumnav on Antigua.

Tracy,

I booked with Cosol in St. Lucia. I made a list of everything I wanted to see on that island. It turned out to be a long list. His tour was the perfect one and then some! Plus there is a LOT of good reviews on CruiseCritic so I feel really comfortable booking Cosol for my family.

I sent him an email with a bunch of questions and got a response within a day. That's another thing that I liked- good communication!

The only thing that I didn't think of is that his normal tours are during the day so that they don't include dinner. He did tell me that we could stop somewhere local to eat a dinner if I wanted to. But I'm not sure that I want to waste the precious tour time dining!

Looks like an awesome tour and I can't wait!!! :woohoo:

Tracy,
That tour looks perfect to me too! Jon and I would interested in joining you (if they take a 2 yr old as well) didn't see anything on their website about it..

let me know!

Hi everyone! Just thinking about the next newsletter here. It is supposed to come out on June 3. I will do my best to get it out by the evening of June 1, otherwise it will have to wait until June 4 or 5. I am making a quick trip south for a couple days to take care of some things. If you are sending me anything for the newsletter, please try to have it to me by May 29 (yes, I know it's Memorial Day). If you can't get it to me by then, let me know. Don't have a lot of stuff for the newsletter so hopefully I'll hear from some of you :smooth:

Was so excited. Showed DD (14) and she thinks I'm crazy. Those crazy disboard people....................

No Tell Me It Isn’t So… LOL Linda will have to tell Jamie that we are doing something really silly during Dive Quest, that will make her day. Just have to think of something.

Linda, don’t use the H word.

Sorry Tracy, nadda here from us for the news letter, life will be getting crazy this summer. Looks like we are moving. Me in Mid-July and Lynn in October. I still need to decorate the Fish Extender. Jamie is really going to miss out on this one.

Morning everyone.

The largest cruise ship in the world is Docked in Boston
Got to see it Last night . thing is huge.

When the ship came in the harbor air traffic had to be suspended.
they do that when anything taller than 175 ' comes down the channel
The Freedom Of The Seas is 208 feet tall. :teeth: :teeth:
Thanks Pete! That is a fantastic ship. Really enjoyed all the videos. Especially surfing on the back of the ship.
At 3K, this might be an alternative to the eastbound repo. :confused3

Linda

Whoops! How could I forget you Linda. 'Specially since we share a birthdate.

:cake: :bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDA! :bday: :cake: (BELATED)

Sorry Scott but I have to mention the H word.

Linda,
"Locals" here tell me the storms should track further north than the last couple of years. Meaning they will be more likely to stay on a more easterly track in the Atlantic.

Officially,As for the numbers:

13-16 named storms
8-10 Hurricanes
4-6 will be cat3 or higher

My personal predictions for my home:
The parks will not close this year due to weather.
We will lose power at our house 5 times this season. 2 of these outages will last more than 12 hours. We will not sustain any major storm damage.
My insurance will go up again.
I will not worry. I will book another trip

When I think about it it beats "shooting six holes in my freezer".

I just took a peek at Cosol's website and the CruiseCritic reviews. This might just be the ticket for Stephen and me too. I just hope everyone won't get too ticked off with my picture-taking. Maybe I should play it safe and book a private tour ;)

Nuts, I should have stopped while I was ahead. Anyone interested in a Whale Watching excursion???? Tracy you're right, there's just too much to see and not enough time in the day to see it all :confused3

I just got an e-mail from Dan (Dan and Scott). He is working on a price for pins right now. Going to use the design from the t-shirts and name badges unless someone comes up with something else (quick!). Are people still interested in a pin? Post here or PM me or Dan. Thanks!

Kathy (disforever), your extender was put in the mail yesterday afternoon. Hope you like it. :thumbsup2

Dianna (Tigger&Bubba), your extender is done and will go in the mail in the next couple of days. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

:bday: :cake: Linda, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! :dancer: party:

The weather has finally turned sunny :sunny: and the temperature is on the up swing. Supposed to be in the 80's this weekend. :thumbsup2 Can't wait for summer, hate the cold and rain. Makes me crazy.

As you can see I am sewing again so if anyone still wants a fish extender be sure and PM me.

Have a great day!
