Carol, we're all thinking of you today :goodvibes

Just wanted to share with all of you. At the end of last year I entered a photo contest with three photos. Two of my photos won! One was third place (that picture was in a recent newsletter -- the picture of the tree on a path) and the other was an honorable mention! Only 1000 more wins and I can quit my day job :lmao:

CONGRATULATIONS TRACY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where do you think I got it from :lmao: :rotfl2:

Thanks everyone. I'm still pretty excited about all this. This is the first contest I have won actual cash and not just a prize. :woohoo:

Carol and Doug, we got our fish extenders today. They are AWESOME! Thank you guys so much! I hope your recovery is swift, complete and as painless as possible. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Tracy, congrats! And thanks again for the newsletter. It defies expectations. You are wonderful!

:grouphug:

Thanks for the update Doug. Speedy recovery Carol, lots of pixie dust for you :goodvibes

Thanks for all the congrats, I am sooo glad to be done, didn't think I could do it :yay:

Congrat to you Tracey, the photos are beautiful.

Getting closer, can't wait to go, but I don't want to wish away the summer.

Started swimming class with Hailey last week, keeping our fingers crossed that she will be potty trained by then.....

Bernadette

Carol, a speedy recovery.

Bob, I agree that is a winning picture if I ever saw one.

Tracy just has not had the pleasure of our presence for a photo op. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Who knows it could rocket her to first place. Anyway congrats Tracy, well done.

Will be looking see the Magic today. I think she will not be sailing in our area.

Speedy recovery Carol.

Great pictures Tracey and great job with the newsletter. Mike

You can tell that I didn't take it because it was a great people person. I do better with non-human subjects :lmao: My guess though when I get a picture of you two in September, it will be award winning!! Wave for all of us at the Magic :wave2:

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am home. :cheer2: :cheer2: Doug picked me up at 11:30. For my first surgery it wasn't a bad experience but I am definately glad to be home where nurses aren't coming in every couple of hours day and night to take your vitals. :lmao: Maybe tonight I will can get a solid night's sleep :thumbsup2 As far as pain goes, I really haven't had any. :cool1: Everyone was pretty impressed I was up and walking to the bathroom as soon as I got to my room and never had any pain so never took any pain meds. It hurts a little to swallow from them messing with my neck but other than that.... As far as recovery goes, I can't drive for week or lift anything heavy for a couple of weeks (Doug gets to do the laundry   )or look up or down until things are well fused but other than that I can pretty well do what I feel like. Right now recovery to me means getting some uninterupted sleep. :thumbsup2

Congrats on the photos, Traci! They are beautiful. Keep trying, who knows???

Scott and Lynn, the underwater shots were great! Beautiful water. Hoped you waved at the Magic for us.

Thanks again for all the Pixie dust and prayers. They really worked. Oh, yes, I was told I could go back to sewing as soon as I felt like it but to take it easy. I think it will be a few days before I do though. :rotfl:

Carol

Carol - so glad to see that you are home and doing so well. Don't get ahead of yourself with your recovery - do as you are told so that you continue your forward progress (that is the voice of experience talking, just because you feel good doesn't mean you can return to normal activity, hard as it is to hold back).

Hope everyone else is having a good week. Our spring weather is going to take a bit of a hiatus for the next week by the looks of it but at least there is no snow predicted (don't laugh - we HAVE had snow on Mother's Day before).

Here she is in port, albeit a distance off.

Glad that you are home and doing well Carol. Thanks for the great pictures of the magic leaving Grand Cayman Scott.

Rain here today and warm weather to follow. Mike

My trip to the Ellen Show was the best. I will write a review later today.
