Just wanted to let everyone know that I am home.

Doug picked me up at 11:30. For my first surgery it wasn't a bad experience but I am definately glad to be home where nurses aren't coming in every couple of hours day and night to take your vitals.

Maybe tonight I will can get a solid night's sleep

As far as pain goes, I really haven't had any.

Everyone was pretty impressed I was up and walking to the bathroom as soon as I got to my room and never had any pain so never took any pain meds. It hurts a little to swallow from them messing with my neck but other than that.... As far as recovery goes, I can't drive for week or lift anything heavy for a couple of weeks (Doug gets to do the laundry

)or look up or down until things are well fused but other than that I can pretty well do what I feel like. Right now recovery to me means getting some uninterupted sleep.
Congrats on the photos, Traci! They are beautiful. Keep trying, who knows???
Scott and Lynn, the underwater shots were great! Beautiful water. Hoped you waved at the Magic for us.
Thanks again for all the Pixie dust and prayers. They really worked. Oh, yes, I was told I could go back to sewing as soon as I felt like it but to take it easy. I think it will be a few days before I do though.
