:dancer: party: :bday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY REGINA! :bday: party: :dancer:

Dena (Mdvasquez), Suzie (SuzieDizney) and Cindi (Cindi0511) your extenders went in the mail today.  Hope you like them.

Tracy, great newsletter as always. :cool1: :thumbsup2 Loved all the info on what is going on on board the ship. :Pinkbounc :bounce: Would love to see some of the other things that you mentioned done but unfortunately we have a full plate :rolleyes2 with what we are doing to be heading up anything more. Would be willing to assist if someone needs the help, though.

Rob, just got the updated video downloaded. What a great job! :cool1: :thumbsup2 Have one question, though, are you going to add the other decks to Where on the Wonder are you?

Carol and Doug

Tony:

I e-mailed you with my new room number. I got a 3 cat. upgrade for free and was so happy about that. I don't remember what it is now, I am out of town for two weeks and then leaving for WDW, as soon as I get home and then immediately leaving for a bowling tournament - and then I leave for a 7 day Disney cruise for a week. So I'll get it to you again, just ASA I can. My life isn't my own right now.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and that Ken did OK. Alex

Hi Alex and Carolyn

Don't know yet if I did OK or not on my walking shift - it's not until 2am to 3am Sunday morning. There's just nothing like a brisk 1 hour walk in the middle of the night. :rotfl2: But, our team raised $4600 for the American Cancer Society so it's all good.

It's definitely a good cause. Our group raised around $3000. Next year I hope to be one of the co-captains for our group. If you get pian in your knees, Shari will just have to wait on you while you rest on the couch tomarrow. Alex

Happy Birthday Cruise Mom Regina

party:

I hope you had the best birthday ever. What did you get?

Ken, good job, hope you made it ok, Ice and rest.

Tony, good luck getting those positions filled, would offer to fill them but have vacation planned in September. Thanks for keeping the list.

Vacation is good, I actually slept 10 hours. Last week at work was nuts and out flights down were fraught with problems. The resort is very very nice, well appointed rooms, and a friendly staff. The reef off the resort is pretty good, lots of fish and very healthy sponges and coral, just have to swim a ways to get to it. Found the local mini mart, front room of a house, a Cuban family runs it, I tend to find these kinds of places, get to know the locals and support them with my business.

Nice sunrise today, will see how the dive operation is.

Tracy, great news letter. Time to get ready for the day.

We can do a Southern Cross night for sure. "when you see the Southern Cross for the first time."

Hey Alex:

I appreciate the sympathy for Ken but I walked THREE hours straight and he only has to walk one - and did he get out of bed without waking me up at 1:30 a.m. NOT :sad2: OK,OK,OK. I'll stop sniffling and be a good wife. I'll rub his knee if it hurts but only if he doe it in return

I hope everyone has a great day. And Tony, those positions will be filled because I refuse to go on this cruise without you and Adrienne so positive thoughts are coming your way.

Just a thought....

UNTIL we each get our special lanyards and name badges...

Last May when we went on the First MAGICal West Coast Cruise to Mexico, the DISers wore Alien/Lime Green upon boarding and we also made name badges out of the Home Depot Alien Green Mickey Head paint chips. It was the ideal beacon color to help us recognize each other and there were several people in the terminal jealously asking us "Who are you lime green people?... are y'all in a club or something?"

So what do y'all say we all wear something lime green to board the ship? T-shirt, baseball hat, scarf...whatever... but something to unite us even BEFORE we board?....

Opinions please...

Sorry I am just getting to this, Sandy. But I think Ken said that he will be giving out the lanyards and badges in the terminal as well as at the sail away party but this might be a good way for him to spot us and us to spot him as well as each other. I don't know what I have in Alien Green but I could find something.

Now I have a question for those of you who have sailed :sail: several times on DCL. I am thinking about the "fish extender" contest and I was wondering about two things. Would we possibly be able to get a room or use one of the clubs during off hours for the contest? :confused3 I think it would be easier for whoever is judging to have the extenders brought to one central location rather than have to walk around the ship to look at them. Also, what do you think of having a cast member or two do the judging and do you think we could get someone to do it? Who would I talk to once we get on board?

Right now we are thinking of 3 catagories, adult, family with children ages 11 - 15 and family with children ages 0 - 10. I know some have children in both catagories and that would have to be worked out.

Also, there could be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize in each catagory with prizes being Disney Dollars. All entrants will receive something for entering, possibly a ribbon.

These are our ideas as of now. Any help with the room and judge questions would be appreciated, as well as input on these ideas or any others that you may have.

Oh, yeah, we will probably be asking for some volunteers to help at the judging. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Carol

Tony {Aphoenix},

Just to let you know your Fish Extender went into the mail today. I woulld expect it to be in your mail box about Wednesday. :stir: Happy decorating. :stir:

Like Scott I would be happy to fill in at your store but we have something planed for that date. :sail: Lots of time between now and then so I hope you have the best of luck getting the positions filled quickly with good solid people! :goofy:

GOOD EVENING EVERYONE!
gang04.jpg

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Not too much Cinco De Mayo or Kentucky Derby. :)

Been a good day. A little work, a little play....o.k. a little more than a little play.
Still nice out. Just sitting on the deck and watching the Jazz Fest and surfing. Saw Jimmy Buffett, Buckwheat Zydeco, Paul Simon...... Maybe a road trip next year.

Has anyone seen these stamps?
Guess I don't get to the post office very often.

Yes, we plan on making it. Depends on our flight. Still waiting on SWA to open up. May go with Delta instead of waiting.
Seems like I remember reading about a 3:30 time. Is that going to be enough time for a meet and still make it to Grills to see the Magic? Also, it is my understanding that Grills does not takle reservations except under special circumtances. We might need to check into this.

19 wonderful summer weeks to go until the 11 nights. :thumbsup2

I hope it's warmer this time. :cold:
Did enjoy it though.

I think these stamps just came out because I have been waiting for them and I couldn't find the release date a few weeks ago.

Just checking in quick to say a BIG thanks to Carol for the fish extenders, they are so cool! Hopefully I will find time to decorate mine before the cruise!

Finally finished my Masters  I graduate on the 26th and it will be official. One less thing to do, more time to think and plan for the cruise :rotfl:

Hope everyone is well. I will try to check in more often now that school is done.
