We are having a rainy day in central FL! :cheer2:

Hope the east coast gets a bunch of rain to help with the forrest fires. Tomarrow and the weekend it's back to sunny, breezy and upper 80's.

Shari, Carolyn mentioned she talked to you about decorating your fish extender, she knew nothing about them because I told her I was going to make ours. Will we still be able to compete in the fish extender contest? :confused3

Well our house is under de-construction, that is why I have not been able to be an active part if this thread yet. We have been living with my husbands parents for 3 weeks now :sad:

We had a problem with our concrete slab and they had to lift the entire home! We have only been here 1 year!!!! oh well. At least we are alove. It can be fixed, but it is taking forever. They are having to re-paint everything and put in new flooring all over the house. Of course nothing is working like it should and it looks like another week until we are back in the house.

To everyone that celebrated, lost or fixed something :hug:

I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to be able to get caught up soon. I am so looking forward to getting onboard our DD is asking daily "when are we going to the big boat...I NEED TO GO THERE" A desparate plea from a 3 year old...just cannot be ignored. :teeth:

Anyway I am excited for the lanyards and the other Dis items. I do however need to get ahold of one of those fish extenders. I will have to read back and figure out how.

Thanks to all of you who keep this up and hopefully soon, I will be able to join in!

Alex - Carolyn mentioned you were working way too many hours I don't know how you'll find the time to work, train, make AND decorate your own fish extender. I obviously need some of your Energizer batteries.

Since I'm only decorating a fish extender, I guess the ones in charge would have to answer your question about participating but I think you should be allowed to participate. what do you think Carol??

To all those with fish extender questions.

First my DH and I are making them for each stateroom that is on the roster as our gift. All you have to do is PM me and I will see that you are put on the list and PM any further instructions. It may take a few weeks for me to get them out right now, I just had surgery and am not sure when I will get back to sewing. Hopefully in a week or two but I will see that you get them as soon as possible. I had a few made up ahead of time but most of those are spoken for already.

I didn't quite understand the question :confused3

but as far as being in the contest goes, as long as you have a decorated fish extender to enter you are welcome. :welcome:

The details still have to be worked out and some questions answered but as things develope I will let you know.

Lesley....that is sooo cool....thank you thank you thank you....except that I missed the opening of the show yesterday....I got caught in a traffic jam on my way home. We do get some repeats of Ellen on Sunday....so you were at the taping with the West Wing cast????

The opening part we saw taped was the West Wing show. However, the guests that we saw taped were Vince Vaughn promoting The Breakup (which shows on June 2nd) and Hugh Jackman promoting X-Men 3 (which broadcasts on May 26th).

I got my excursion guide in the mail today :cheer2:

Ok, enough of that...The excursion section said "check out disneycruise.com for your excursions" which of course they are not there yet. I was also a bit disappointed because the section about Disney Wonder had the customs limits for the 3 and 4 day cruises, not for our cruise. I like the booklet that they send (got one a couple weeks ago for our 7 day cruise), but wish the excursions would have been in there.
