Just got home - we walked into POTC2 just a little after it had started... and we stayed about an hour - and then finally agreed that "it is not appropriate for kids"... so we left. The manager was kind enough to refund our fare - and we hit Best Buy and the local market - and checked out a newish Lilo & Stitch movie and the "Wedding Crashers" flick for me and the spouse later tonite.

Oh well.... I'll probably catch POTC2 on the ship in September - I'm sure it will still play then.

... I just ran across the Pirate name generator... it's kind of cool in an entertaining way! So - it suggested my pirate name should be ....

"IRON TOM BONNIE"

I'm not really too thrilled to be a "Bonnie".... like, what the heck does Bonnie imply about me? SO - I think I'll have to try it again with some adjustments. Plus maybe my spouse will give it a try to come up with a fun pirate nick name!

Officially - I maintain my preference for my pirate name to remain Captain Crash - for now....

Oh YES!! One of my very favorites. LOW CARB TOO!! Also works well with Parrot Bay..... It's great cause you can get the diet coke on Deck 9 and just bring on your own bottle of Malibu or Parrot Bay. YUM! I am considering the "Bubba Mug" at Wal-Mart for this purpose. Holds 52 OZ!!!

We got those bubba keg mugs for the panama cruise...they are excellent.
Bob would fill his in the morning with ice and whatever, the ice stays pretty much frozen the entire day. I used mine for Captain morgan and diet coke a little later in the day..they are excellent. Great size so you don't have to keep running back and forth..lol.

It looks like ICUNurses' husband has flung his gauntlet down and proclaimed he will VANQUISH all pretenders to the throne of "KING of the FASTEST MICKEY ICE CREAM BAR Consumers!" ("Grown Ups" class) Will no one step forward to contest the raving claims of this upstart pretender??? Don't let Celestes' Husband step aboard come September 17th with the Psycological Edge of knowing his claim to "The Throne" went undisputed!!!?!? Is there no one with a big enough mouth and freeze headache resistant brain who will take up this thrown gauntlet and fling it back in the upstarts' general direction? Hmm.... "big mouth" and "freeze headache resistant brain"... that might not have come across as poetically pursuasive as intended... but it will have to do for now.

So who is brave enough to emerge from the shadowy teaming masses of lurking DIS enthusiasts? Step forward and proclaim your resistance to this claim from ICUNurses' husband! Cry "FREEDOM Reigns!... and I shall be the FASTEST to polish off a Mickey Ice Cream Bar on THIS SAILING!!!!"

Make a NAME for yourself as the reigning champion of the dessert line up on the Wonder this September.... make it known that you can indeed devour a Mickey Bar and survive the hazards of the dreaded "FREEZE BRAIN"... as those who join in may have little to risk.

O.K. CAPTAINCRASH, the challenge as been presented and duly noted. If the competition is closer to the end of the cruise, I will be ready for a nice joust. I do not plan on gaining all my weight back on the first or second day of the cruise, but by day 8 or 9 I should be able to pack in a few bars.

Well...

.... we have not as yet scheduled the ice cream thing... and I imagine the caloric threat is limited since we are just doing 1 bar in the challenge... not a case of HOW MANY can be eaten in a fixed time frame - or UNLIMITED time frame! Plus I envision limiting this to about 10-15 for one group of kids and one group of adults. 2 runs ... simple!

I figure with 270 in the group (do we really have 270 folks on the roster?)... we'll have 20-30 in the ice cream challenge easily.
