September 13 or December 14

Hi Everyone! I know it is a WAYS away, but we start saving as soon as we get back from one trip as we always pay cash for our trip and do not take it out of our budget.

My question is this. We had been planning on a trip the begining of december of 2013, but now that I have heard that it will be 2014 before all of fantasyland is open, DH and I are thinking about taking a trip in sept 2013 for a long weekend during ToT 10K and taking our Christmas trip in decemeber 2014. We have never been at Christmas time, so I am thinking it would amazing to go when everything is open.

So here is my actual question haha What do you think you would do in our situation. I with we could go in sept and then turn around and go in december, but that is not happening for sure. Thanks everyone for your opinions! Have a great day!!

What about doing December 2013 and September 2014? I know that gives you a year and a half between now and your next trip, but more time to save.
You can enjoy Christmas and some of the new attractions first, then hopefully the Mine Train will be complete in September and you can do all the new attractions AGAIN!
This way you can get Annual Passes to cover both trips. I suppose the only issue here is if you would plan on using Free Dining in September.
