OMG I've just realised the time! Here I am lounging around in my pj's (see Kaz I'm not so different!) and on the DIS, when I ran my bath half hour ago and am due to pick my sis up from school at 12! Better get a move on!


Have a magical day everyone! I'm looking forward to spending the afternoon having a good girly gossip with my sister over a large bucket of coffee...

Hi Angel,

I fell asleep really early last night because I was exhausted. I had to go out yesterday all day......doctor appointment for my step-dad that I had to take him to and a meeting regarding financial aid for him to pay for his stay at the personal care home down the road.....that's where he lives since mom passed away last year. He's suffered a brain injury when falling down the stairs five years ago and can't live on his own. John took the day off to help me out with the driving yesterday......then we all went out to lunch inbetween the doctor and the meeting. By the time I got back home I crashed. Now I'm awake and refreshed.


Can I have some now please!!!!

well, as you asked so nicely Deb....and it sounds like you really deserve it too! You had a busy day yesterday. Your Step Dad is lucky to have you both to help him.

It's a great breakfast place and it's right down the road from the Port. We'll make it a party and all go together.



...lol we ARE so alike Deb, I was thinking the same! We usually have a quick lunch in PC then straight to the pool til lifeboat drill! Happy to change it this time though to see my friends!

......here's what you do.....wear your bathing suit under your clothes and head straight to the pool. We eat chicken fingers poolside with our drinks.....no need to fight the crowds at lunch. Then we'll leave early and meet our friends at Promenades.....sounds like a plan!

OMG, Mandy - that is sooo me!!! Don't tell anyone but I've just put jogging bottoms and an oversized sweatshirt over my PJs this morning...

We're off to a 7 course gourmet evening (with wine pairings ) at a very nice local restaurant!!! We get champers with the canapes so will raise a subtle toast to my champagne girly friends...

We ALWAYS do IHOP for breakfast too when getting off the ship.....after breakfast we head to WDW and check into our hotel across from DTD. If we cancel our second week of our B2B, we should do IHOP together!!!

Dick and I 'discovered' IHOP after getting off the Magic in September 2007 and not knowing what to do with our day before heading to the airport. We had a stunning breakfast then popped to Florida Mall for some last minute shopping as we desperately needed an extra suitcase because of all the goodies we'd accumulated on the cruise!!! This has now become our last day schedule...

Aah Bournville... As a south Birmingham babe (yeah,right!!! ) I grew up very near the Cadbury factory - sometimes I used to come home from school via Bournville just to smell the delicious chocolatey goodness...

That's pretty much how we felt last year! My brekkie of choice is a veggie omelette with hash brown inside, extra sausage and a side order of pancakes - it's gotta be the nearest thing to heaven... Other than walking through the chocolate heaven that is Bournville of course...

Today I'll be having lunch with the gals from work, dinner with Peg & Jose and then tomorrow Peg is taking me somewhere for an overnight trip. It's a surprise destination. I wonder if we'll be going north and I'll need cold weather clothes...better find out, eh? Or maybe, we're staying in the valley at a resort??? Think I'll pack a bottle of Rosa Regale too!
