OT: Question...

How many CC Members received the Tote bag free gift and noticed there were several items missing from it? :confused3 I was curious if it was because DCL is running out of supplies or if we were just left with a light tote?

Oh and did you all have to sign for it? I didn't this time, thought that was odd cause in the past we had to sign we received it

I did sign for my tote bag and my in stateroom gift.

Didn't do more than glance in the tote...saw two water bottles and the red net bag. There was some other kid stuff in there that I didn't look at.

We got ours. We got the totebag, the mesh bag, the notebook and the pencil case. I didn't really give much thought to what was supposed to be in it.

We got back to Charleston yesterday around 4pm.
It was sad to leave, but I was ready to get home. Traveling with a sick toddler was not fun.:headache:
I enjoyed myself, however, we didnt book onboard b/c we decided we are not going to cruise again until the 2 little ones are at least 3 years old. Considering one isnt born yet, that will be about 3 1/2 years. There just wasnt much to keep an 18 mth old busy.
Hope everyone had a good time. I enjoyed looking for the green lanyard people!
I think the highlights of our trips were the character interaction, Castaway Cay, and MNSSHP!
We had wonderful service, in true Disney spirit, from Brenden and Yadira (sp?) in the dining rooms, and Franky- our stateroom host.
Looking foward to hitting the parks in the coming years and another DCL cruise in about 3 years. At least there will be 2 new ships to try out by then!!:cloud9:

I'm glad the people reporting back are home safe. It was so strange to get off the ship on Saturday and be home within an hour back to reality.
We had Brendan and Yadira also in the dining rooms... were you guys first seating?
I tried getting to the meet on Saturday, but with the kids, it was just a little overwhelming. Can you believe that within 30 minutes of boarding the ship, I lost my son? It was only for 5 minutes until I found out someone had taken him to the Oceaneer Club. First time in those cabins where the hallways aren't long and you can see down them.. instead there were a couple of turns which probably disoriented me.
Cruise was great... the highlight was spending my birthday in Coki Beach, St. Thomas and swimming with the fish.
Happy Birthday to the jack pot winner! Keep enjoying the beautiful weather here in Orlando!

All this talk of first and second seating reminded me. I switched to second seating this time and enjoyed it more (felt less rushed). The only drawback was that we thought we had to take the kids out of the clubs when the clubs went for dinner (only towards the end of the cruise did we find out that they could have stayed in without going to the dinner lines).

Had a great massage on CC - but that was down to the masseuse. The cabanas are nice with stunning views, but you get very little time to admire the view and the serenity was not all that serene because you could hear everyone on the beach outside. Will skip it next time and use the money for something else.

Never found time to order Mickey Bars from room service.

KayR, I must say you guys were great neighbors!!! I never heard you, because you were probably never there :)
We did get tote bags with the water bottles, red bag and pad with pen. The bottles leak, though, but I'll put them to good use in my cooler for tailgating :)

Brooke, I don't know if you were interested for real, but I did go and played some beach volleyball with my wife at Castaway Cay. Only problem is that she served into my daughters head and I spiked the ball into my son's face :(, so game was over right there.

Curious to know if anyone saw this and knows what it is...

I did the cabana massage. I think this was my third time. I love it, I just completely fade out and couldn't even tell you if I heard that much noise on the beach.

We'll be in the Baltic next year so no cabana massage for me. I think we'll give the spa villa a try.

Curious to know if anyone saw this and knows what it is...

I still haven't figured that one out and would love to know the answer.

Gift? What gift did you receive?

A lovely DCL excursion bag from my little sister!

Got my PC quote: $6400 for two adults, Cat 7 secret verandah (7620), no transfers, no insurance, all fees and taxes. That includes a 10% ob booking discount. That's about $1600 per person per week, a rate I've paid before, so not quite as much sticker shock as I was expecting BUT certainly nowhere near an 'inexpensive' repositioning cruise rate!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to check in and say what a wonderful (OK, Magical!) cruise we had! Thanks so much for all those amazing, creative FE gifts which were fab to receive...

And did I mention that we had the absolute best tablemates one could wish for??? Table 28 and 29, you know who you are!!! Thank you one and all for making our vacation so special... :cloud9: If we don't get to sail with you guys at some point in the future, I'm going to have a Disney meltdown!!!

Anyway, Richard is now immersed in the wicked world of WORK whilst I'm whiling away another week in Wilderness Lodge - poor man definitely got the short straw there... ;)

So bye for now and thanks once again...

I did go to play some volleyball around 12:30 but there was nobody there. We just headed back to the adult beach. It would of been fun to get a game together,
