Hitchhiker's guide. Another one of my favorites (though I did not care for the new movie very much. I preferred the BBC version).

I ALWAYS have a towel with me because of that book (well, there's always one in my car...not on my person). It came in really handy the time I LOCKED my fingers in the car door...



Good cruise prep day for me. Got my new glasses, bought a necklace and bracelet on the way there (PEG, remind me to tell you about a new shop in the PV Mall). Went to Catherine's and got two new pair of cotton slacks and THREE tops! (two of which are lime green). Had lunch, got gas and lottery tickets, went to Target and got Earth's Best (baby) sunblock, and some travel size containers and Office Max for printer lables. WHEW! Now I'm home with a frosty root beer and not going back out, except maybe to swim at Peg's.

Oh wow, really!!?? We were booked on that cruise originally!!! Obviously I'd rather be on the Magic than not BUT I really hope we get to do our special Eastern itinerary. Fingers crossed, peeps...

I'm definitely hoping for Tortola/Eastern as well, since it's something new and different. I also prefer the Eastern itinerary over the Western b/c it has more sea days.

looks like I'll be leaving tomorrow NOT TO DAY !!!!!!!!!!

I just had to BREAK the rake 3 times !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! last time I really needed parts

so finish up all that to day then last minute things in the morning and out the door before dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18 hours later will be at the MOUSE HOUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'll certainly share my lime green duct tape with her (heaven knows there's plenty). But I'm pretty sure she'll let me use the pool anyway.

Today is straighten up the house day, so let's all hope I'm not still sitting here, playing on my computer for the next three hours...exactly HOW does that keep happening anyway? I've got to get my craft table cleaned up as there will be a couple of projects for the cruise to do and there are bills to pay and a checkbook to balance. And then the movie theater is calling me to come see Julie & Julia or The Time Traveler's Wife. Busy, busy........
