I feel like a Giddy Little School Girl :hyper: I can't wait for the Meet & Greet with Metallica & Concert tonight!!!! :cheer2:

I haven't seen them in concert since I was in my early 20's.. Last time I personally met them was when I was 15... :faint:

oooooooooooooohhhhhhh I am soooooooo excited!!!! :upsidedow

Hubby keeps teasing me about my "date" with his best friend :sad2: I think he forgets that his best friend and I have known each other since High School so I had first dibs on him :rotfl:

When I was in my early '20's the Andrew Sisters were popular.

ok, should I "pretend" to know who they are? :upsidedow

ETA: I did a Google... "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" I KNOW this song!!! We sang it in Music class when I was in 5th grade for our Spring Concert

I'm actually not that old, though in my teens, I did see the following in concert:

Rod Stewart and the Small Faces
Pink Floyd
Lead Zepellin
Cat Stevens
Lou Reed
Canned Heat
The Kinks
and many more

Ok Stacy - this is making me ask your age :rotfl2: (you really don't need to answer unless you want to) :)

Hey, I had to call DVC to add an address on for someone's sister's post cruise reservations and (MARILYN) I got a member services person from the UK!

I was really surprise. I think she was even more surprised when I told her that judging by her accent, I'd say she was from London? Possibly south London.

She was from west London.

I think it surprised her that an American could pinpoint a British accent to where in Britain it was from.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey.... I win the who you saw in concert game.....

The Beatles......TWICE!

I remember watching their first appearance on the Ed Suliivan Show. Does that count?

(I bet you were quite the cute chick in your go-go boots!)

Ah yes, three weeks in a row glued to Ed's show!

OMG! I had the cutest outfit. Black and white, herringbone, bell bottom hip huggers with a white belt. White 'poor boy' sweater and white go-go boots. There is, unfortunately, no photographic evidence of this. BTW, I absolutely glowed under a black light! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

My father took me to see The Beatles when I was quite small - unfortunately I can't remember anything about it... However many years later (1993) I did meet Sir Paul McCartney doing some Christmas shopping in an antique store - nice guy... :thumbsup2

How cool!!! It's my dream to come and work for DVC when I'm old - maybe it could come true... :cloud9:

I haven't a very clear memory of the second concert...as the girls in front of us were standing on their seats and as we were on a level floor, I saw pretty much nothing. And, of course, all you REALLY hear is screaming. The first concert was at Comisky Park (baseball stadium), LOVED that one!

Well I'm an old Getarian, but you can be a Getarian in Training!!!:lmao:

Well Sukie is well on his way to Getarian! He keeps telling me how old he's getting. I show quite a bit self control because I don't say anything and I don't slap him.

Hi friends, checking in, its been a while. Nice to hear everyone's news. Jan could you please post a recent pic of your darling Sophie, she must be all smiles and coos at this age.

I remain super excited about this cruise and DH can't believe I'm on the Dis pretty much everyday. "What else could there be to learn about this cruise?" he asks.

I am not sure if we will be doing any organized excursions on this cruise or not. Our first time in the Carribean we did one at almost every port and had a blast of course but might keep it more low-key this time.

Currently trying to decide if we should take our 'stay' week in Florida the week before or after the cruise. My b-day is the week before so a free day at WDW would be nice, we shall see. We will stay in a timeshare off-resort.

Anyway, that is my boring news. Take care everyone.
