Ahemmmmmm......I'll be celebrating birthday number 60 this year. I know, impossible to believe.

Me too. Well after all I am a GIT....Geezer in training....for those of you who don't know. The Old Geezers, over 60, and the Geezers in training, over 50, are getting together at the Cove Cafe at some point to share warm milk and cookies.....or hot toddies......whichever you prefer....

Oh good, an age change! OG's used to be 55 and over. I like this much better. Now I am just a GIT. I'm sure that Marilyn and Jackie will do an awesome job of representing the OG's!

I'm feeling much younger for the moment!

St. Thomas, I thinking shopping, shopping, shopping. The only thing we haven't done yet is an excursion to St. John, so I "might" take time out of my shopping schedule to do that.

Tortola, the only thing I saw on DCL was a land and sea tour. So right now I'm not real sure on Tortola.

Cove Cafe...Harry and I spend many hours on the comfy chairs outside of Cove Cafe. It's our favorite spot.

St. Thomas...hoping to go to Coral World and the beach next door. I loved that beach! I think I mentioned this several times but you know how GIT's start repeating themselves.

Tortola...haven't give it a thought yet.

Hi ALL !!!! I'm back!!!

The one day back & forth Florida trip went well.. Flights were good, and on time but a little tiring.. I hate that I can't sleep on a plane..

Antigua was Awesome!!! Beautiful beaches and clear blue waters.. It was in the 80's and up the whole trip.. The water was really warm and we swam every day.. The sunset cruise, well, there was a fluffy cloud that blocked the actual sunset but the Zodiac was great.. Food was Delicious and so much of it.. 4pm Tea, finger sandwhiches & cakes were a perfect snack before Dinner..

We met some great people and made several friends as well as business associates that will come in handy for Hubby..


so now... 10 Pages!! I have 10 Pages to Ketchup on

DCL goes to Antigua???

They did a special cruise in 2004 and the 11 night Southern Caribbean went there in 2006. I think some of the longer Christmas/holiday cruises go there too.

It's sad but so far NOTHING looks appealing to me.

I also have a terrible little secret to share. I don't like beaches, well more specifically, I hate sand.

I blame my sister. I grew up about 2 or 3 blocks from the ocean. I can remember it as clear as yesterday. She took me to the beach and I got sand in my suit. She would not pick me up and made me walk home. My skin was raw by the time we got back.

I manage to cope with Castaway Cay, by plopping my butt in a hammock, or parking my butt in an inner tube. Let's face it, parking my butt ANYWHERE but on the sand.

Feel free to send hate mail to my sister. Who by the way is 65 and does not remember this major event in my life and how she ruined seaside resorts for her baby brother.

Well it is official Joe and I will not be taking this cruise. We have been asked and accepted by our good friends to join them on a cruise to Alaska to celebrate my girlfriends 60th b/d. We will be taking that cruise the end of August and by the time we get back home just couldn't see ourselves trying to get ready for this cruise. Sorry that we will not be getting to meet e/o this time around but hopefully we will meet sometime in the future.
