I'm a bit torn really Donna. I fancy going up there, but I think we will just do the Skyride to Paradise Point.

The Skyride has a great view, too. I think Mountaintop is a bit nicer but I love the Skyride because it is so convenient.

Now I have to find out from our DVC owner, if he has to arrange for Magical Express, (MCO to WDW for me, WDW to MCO for you) or if we can do that ourselves.

I can't eve THINK about rides yet, I have to make sure I have hotels and flights first. Ok, flights done, MOST hotels booked (thanks again to my pals for letting me rent DVC for Sun-Wed) - but where oh where shall we stay SATURDAY night after we depart the ship? (I actually had to call my sister just now to find out what night I was MISSING a hotel... see how fried my brain is? Geez - I need a vacation BEFORE my vacation!

I'll check out rack rate AKL for you. I think if you were able to add Sat to your DVC rental it would be about $250...points are high for Sat night (that figure is an estimate). But it will give you a comparison. I'll also look up a less expensive Disney option. Oh....and check out the Swan and or Dolphin as they are so close to the Boardwalk...barely any hassle switching rooms.

I don't want to work...there's VACATION PLANNING TO DO.

Yeah....but I can't get my sisters in the gondola. Guess they'll have to 'choose the least scary' option.

I'm glad I'll get to be using all the days for my DDP, though one dinner will be OOP since we're doing one signature restaurant.

Thank you Marilyn. In this case I just glaze over when it comes to this cruise and the ports, because looking at the DCL excursions, there is NOTHING I want to do.

Reminds me of an Irish Wake. I think it's a shot and a half each of dark & light rum and blue curacao(sp?), fill it up with orange juice and top it off with a shot of Bacardi 151. I could use a drink right now.

Hi, you're in for a treat!!! You are going to have a fantastic time.

Sorry I can't help you with the wine/martini tastings. I do believe they will have them, and I would like to go to the wine one, but I don't personally know when they are. Someone else might be able to help.

Wine/martini/tequila/beer....they will have all of these.

The first Tortola itinerary is at the end of this month. When the DIS folk on that cruise get back, the will be able to answer all our scheduling questions. Although activities like this can change, it will be a good guideline.

Also, no gondola - not sure what y'all are talking about - how to get to that mountain top - jeep with no doors is MUCH less scary to me...

I cannot understand why my DH likes the gondola - he hates heights too. But I think his fear is dwindled when he's making fun of me...
