Sept/Oct Code watch

Well i;'ve now passed the one hour mark on the hone with the CM. Very soon the phone bill will negate any discounts received. The problem appears to be that we're booked for 14 nights but the code is only valid for 10 nights. Looks like were sorted with the discount just applied for 10 days. Unfortunately we're having to move from POFQ to POR but hopefully thats a small inconvenience.

Finally sorted out at 1 hour 19 mins and 35 seconds on the phone!!!!!

Why don't you call the 1-800 number? It is 1-800-828-0228. Toll Free!

I'm not in the U.S so I'm fairly certain the toll free number doesn't work for me.

I'm glad you have it worked out though. Mabye they will let you stay in the same place once you are there. You could always ask. All they can do is say "no".

We are booked for 20 days with the free dining discount. We had to buy 4 one day tickets instead of the 2 since it is TWO 10 days ressies to qualify for the discount but that is a small price to pay and those one day tickets can be used toward an AP next time around.

Good luck and hope you get a better CM.

According to the Passholder Disney World site, the AP Code BPO is available to
"Book by August 18, 2006, to get this dazzling deal! Now, you can book a select Disney Value Resort standard room for as little as $64* a night plus tax, most nights 8/27-8/31/06 and 9/3-9/30/06."

This discount is also available for Deluxe (not sure about Mods), however, it appears that it is exactly the same rate as the general public code BPN. I spoke with a CM a little while ago and she said that she did have it available for the Beach Club, but not the Yacht Club. Nothing was available for my dates for Pop Century.

Good luck everyone! :thumbsup2

So CLOSE! If only the deal was extended by 8 more days, it would work perfectly for me.

I am just crossing my fingers and waiting :rolleyes1 that something like this room only deal comes along before my trip begins on October 8. If not, at least I got the AAA rate which saves me a little bit of cash.

We'll be @ the world the same time...we've got AAA for the CR for 2 days but, hoping to get an AP rate too.:wizard:

Oh well. Just called. No BPN rated rooms available (water view or standard) at AKL. They did have Savannah rooms for $215 a night. Had to pass since that would push over my budget.

Still hoping for some AP rates to come out. :(

Woohoo! Got my WL woods view room for Labor Day weekend for $170/night!

Three years ago I had never been to Disney and the wife talked me into it and now this is our 3rd consecutive trip! Sounds like a pattern to me! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone--- i am sorry but i am "one of those" people who are kinda confused with the discount rates etc---

i see some of you are getting the discount on your room only.....my question is.....

i dont have an AP-- i have my free dining package thru AAA for 9/16-9/24 and i was wondering if the discount would apply to me?..or AP holders only?

if so-- can i call my AAA TA and have her get me the discount (well- only if it is better than the AAA discount that i am already getting on the room)

thank you, thank you, thank you!

Correct me if I am wrong, everyone, but the poster quoted above already has the free dining package, so they CANNOT apply the room only discount code on top of that, correct?

It is my understanding that it is either the free dining package or the discounted room, but not both.

From what I have read this rate can not be combined with any other offers to make them even sweeter. I'll defer to the experts however!

I keep looking on the AP site and cannot find the above info. So AP rates really are out for September? I'll have to call in the morning. Thanks for the heads-up.

I called at 8pm when I saw that post. The CM I spoke to said it was in the system but wasn't able to be booked til tomorrow. She checked and found that I would save a whopping $5 more a night over the other code that came out today.

I've just called Disney again and been advised that BPO is not an annual passholder discount rate but is a special offer open to everyone. !!! I presumed the CM was getting cinfused with the BPN code from yesterday but they maintiend that BPO wasn't an exclusive annual passholder discount. Has anyone else been told the same. IS there any difference between the discounts offered with the BPN and BPO codes??? for the first time i'm finding phoning Disney very stressful!!!!

What type of room so you have booked now? Wouldn't $215 beat a poolview at rack rate or do you have a AAA rate already?

I stand corrected!!! BPO is NOT an AP discount! I also spoke with a CM this morning and he told me that BPN is a general public code and so is BPO. The only reason for the difference in the codes is to track where you found it. Whether it was "on line" or not. He also told me that I should keep checking back for AP codes that is was getting close...... whatever that means............... SO, I guess we just have to keep checking and checking and checking...... Sorry for the confusion :confused3 my original post may have caused!

I would agree. You cannot have more than one discount. So, you'd have to run the numbers. Value and Mods from what I have seen do better with the free food.
