I love that you are getting park maps laminated!! That will be so much fun for your family!

I know what you are feeling. I keep thinking, "What can I do now? When can I book this?" The time is just crawling by. Oh October, where are you??

I had some laminated years ago and they still look great. I remember the day that I took them in to Office Max to do it. My kids were so embarrassed, but I didn't care. What was funny was that the woman laminating them for me was planning her first trip, so I whipped out some extra maps for her. My kids still say that I am a walking talking Disney advertiser. I think that I could talk Disney 24/7.

You know you got it bad when your kids have figured out how to get me out of a bad mood. They just start talking Disney and before you know it I'm my perky self again.

Good news... my BFF came over today and we talked about Disney. I think she just may make it. Her DH is going to fix the roof himself. She's lucky b/c he can do anything that needs to be done himself or knows someone who can. Anyway, I think she may book it soon. I'm excited for her because she has not been in years and when she did go it was for only a day or two and they didn't see or do much, they were on their honeymoon.

Her daughter Lexy went with us the last time that we went. She loved it, and really wants to go back. We watched the video from that trip today and it made me want to go back so bad. I just can't wait to get there and see that beautiful place again. It's just so amazing.

Oh yea!! I got my new car tag in from Disney World. It's the Four Parks One World one. I LOVE it!!

We are going the same week you are Oct 9-17! I didn't even realize it was Columbus Day that Monday until I saw your report. This is our first family trip (I haven't been to MK in 31 years! but we have been to AK and TL) so I'm excited. I've been planning like mad and it's not like I don't have 6 months to plan . Is it just me or does everyone have a binder with lists, schedules, spreadsheets, budgets, etc?

I hope you have a great trip and I'll be watching your pre-trip to get some good tips!

My DH is so sweet, and I really thing that he is getting excited about this trip, because he came in from work last night with a spreadsheet of our savings plan for the trip. He NEVER does this for our Disney trips. He normally leaves everything up to me. It made me feel good that he is taking time out to do a little planning anyway.

Can you or someone else answer a question about MNSSHP? We don't plan on going to any of the parks on Thursday (lazy day to try to recoup a little) but we want to do MNSSHP that night. Do we need to add an extra day to our tickets for Thursday or will the MNSSHP get us in MK?

You will only need to buy tickets for the MNSSHP, and you can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00.




I can't hardly believe that I am doing this BUT, we may be changing our vacation to go in Sept instead of Oct, to take advantage of the free dining offer. I am going to try to do this on Monday. I am a nervous wreck, and I am so excited too. I hope and pray that we can get it. Keep your fingers crossed for us. If I just had a dang Disney Visa, I could do it today. I think I need to get one just for these deals!

I was a little worried about taking the kids out of school, but I will save so much money by doing this that it has to be worth it. I am trying to justify it. Oh my goodness.... this is going to be one long weekend!!

It get's even better. My Mom & Step dad are now going for a few days too. It's a surprise for my Mom for her birthday.

I have been busy this morning trying to re-figure everything. We will be adding a day so I have been looking at redoing all of that. My Mom & Dad will only be there for 4 days so I had to plan to see all four parks in a row in the middle of the week to spend time with them. It was kind of stressful, but I think I've got it. I just need for the hours to come out. That could change everything.

One good thing is that there are only 2 MNSSPH's that week to work around. I did have three to consider.

Ya know last week my son was doing a commercial and when I got there I realized my camera was dead so I used my iPhone and WOW I was super impressed with the pics. I'm sure I'll take my camera (Its a 14mp Kodak that I got from QVC for a really good price that also has video so you might check out QVC) but now I know I'll have my phone as back up and it's by far alot easier to carry around.

I would LOVE to have an iPhone. My two girls have the iTouch and I love them. I made the mistake of getting my son a Nano instead of a touch and they fight all of the time about it. Dh wants his nano so maybe Santa will bring him an itouch for Christmas. It's always something.

UPDATE!!!!

I booked our trip for Sept 19th-27th today. I am still praying for free dining on Monday. I also booked my parents trip. My Dh is a little worried about that part, but it will be fine. They are only going to be there four days and we will only spend the evenings those days with them, for dinner & fireworks and such. We are wide open during the day, and they walk slow so we can't do that. I feel kind of bad but it will be fine. right?

I still don't know about my friend yet.... she really wants to go but she is not sure yet. I'm thinking that she wont make it.

Gotta go clean my sons room. We are having a yard sale next weekend so I have got to find more items to put in to sale. Just another way to get some Disney money!!

We did have a little snag while booking. I need a room for five and the Alligator Bayou section is the only one that I could get. My mom wants to be at Magnolia Terrace building 85, which is very close to a bus stop. So, I booked her for that and us for AB. We will just walk over and see them. The rooms in her section look much nicer, but what do you do? I could have put one of my children into her room, but if they had to cancel for any reason, I would be in trouble.

I am a little worried about the free dining. I read that someone is already having trouble getting it for Sept at Pop. I hope that there is something left for us on Monday. I am stressing a little here. They are offering it for several more months, so you would THINK that they would have plenty of rooms available, right?

Ohhhhh, one more day after today. I hope that I make it!

I hope that I can make it.. The past two mornings that I could have stayed in bed, I have been up with the early birds. I guess I'm to excited to sleep. It's more like nervous.

I added a day and now this would be saving me close to 1400.00. I have NEVER saved that much money before. Even my DH is asking me when I can call. Yep, the one who thinks that I am crazy for being on here, now sees why I love it so much.

I got free dining!!!!! I am so excited. I was up at 4:55 this morning and on the boards. Some one here posted the link around 5:20 and I went online before they opened and booked a new trip with free dining. Then I was on the phone with Disney at 6:00 to change my mom & dad's over to free dining. They ended up adding free dining to my existing reservation and canceling the one that I booked online. I was just covering myself just in case.

So.... now it's official, and I saved 1367.44. That's a lot of money. It's time to celebrate!!!

My mom & dad saved 319.92 on the four days that they will be there. My sister & her DH saved over 900.00 and my BFF saved 720.00. We are all happy campers today!!
