I was told no discounts as well. My CM said to check back the beginning of August for any 4th quarter discounts.

The only thing on the Disney Rewards website expires 7/31/13. I guess I will just try again later today and start the process again tomorrow.

NO discount today, CM told me not to check back until the 31st or the 1st since current offer does not expire until the 31st.

I got through and was told the same thing, that Disney reservations was aware of the rumors posted on social media about today being a release date for discounts but as of early this AM, they did not have any discounts to release at this time.

Same info here. Miscommunication on social media, no information on when/if discounts will be released. Current promotion does not expire until 7/31, etc. etc.

If not 8/1, I would guess approximately two weeks after 7/31. But that's just a guess.

In the past, I would receive an e-mail from DV informing me of the new offer and indicating that it would be available to DV card members on the specific date. Given the fact that I have not received such an e-mail, the DV website does not reflect the new discount, and the current promotion does not end until July 31st...we should not be surprised the discount was not available today.

Would you believe I have had the DV since 2007 and never ONCE have I received an email to tell me about a promotion? Never been able to figure that out.

Not a surprise. The timing of the info from Chase consistently lags behind when the promotions actually start. Unfortunately I think it's more of a surprise when you do get the email, and by that time you may have already booked your trip.

Maybe Chase knows I have already booked my trips and just don't bother trying to entice me!

We are lucky enough to be able to afford our yearly trips to WDW without a discount. The discounts are just icing on our Disney cake so to speak.
