Hi All

Just booked this cruise while on the Alaska Cruise with the Wonder (13th-20th) leaving out of Seattle. It was a fantastic trip, so fantastic we had to book another! We are so very excited to be on Magic on the opposite coast!
We just wanted to drop a note and share our excitement. Needless to say, we know we are too late to join the FE... But we will still have our Door decorated. We are DH Shawn 41, DS Kyle 5 and myself JaJa 40. We will be in stateroom 2603 and would love to meet you all...

Can you believe it - we are at the 2 week mark!!!!

That's the first thing I thought of this morning when I woke up, two weeks from today we will be heading to the port.

My DH and I spent some time last night going through our clothes we are planning on bringing and laying them all out on the bed in our spare room. Of course I took out too many but I am so excited I want to bring all my Disney clothes.

We are from northern NJ so this is a much easier trip than the Alaska cruise. It will be great to be able to drive to the cruise rather than fly in. It is our hope that Disney will continue to sail out of NY. We will have to see what happens in 2014

Welcome aboard. Would love to hear all about Alaska, as we are going in June on Princess. What part of North Jersey? We're neighbors since we live right across the border in Suffern.

Sounds like a plan, can you believe this is our 6th Disney Cruise and we have never had a drink in one of the bars , nor attended a DIS meet. I also want to do the spa tour, never been there either. My swimsuit will be in my carry on as well - would love to hit the hot tub This trip is going to be so different traveling along with DH. We already talked about skipping the sail away party

Welcome - the sign up is still available for the FE if you want to participate. I know many plan for extras and late arrivals, just might not be everyone - the more merrier in our book (especially for your son).

I asked them if they were going to speaking to each other when we met up with them in NYC. They assured me that they would. They left Sacramento on 8/13 and plan to be in NYC on 9/5. Then head back after the cruise after going south and visiting friends in FL. Her DH had his 1986 Chevrolet El Camino redone and they are coming it that. So far things are well. MY DH cant wait to ask what the gas mileage is. My DH has a 1967 Chevrolet El Camino that gets about 12 mpg. Sue

Welcome aboard. You were getting on the Wonder as we were getting off! We were on the 8/6/12 to 8/13/12 Alaska sailing. I booked this upcoming cruise in late July. Just couldn't pass up the fantastic rates being offered and the opportunity to sail out of New York past the Statue of Liberty. I am from California, so opposite experience from you: our trip to Seattle was the relatively close and easy one. I loved Alaska, but that trip went by sooo fast. Having this cruise booked and knowing it was only a few weeks away kept the panic down a bit when I realized our Alaska cruise was over already.
