As far as I know the only scheduled meet is on the first sea day (the pink champagne one). I have not checked the Facebook group yt, will be doing this later today. Also, I don't think there is a roll call set up yet.

We are coming into Penn Station on Amtrak the Friday morning of the cruise - any suggestion on a nice place to get breakfast close to the Station - we will then be taking a taxi to the pier.

There are many places to eat in Penn Station, I would think they would be listed on their website. Are you looking for a nice sit down big breakfast or something quick? I'd be so inclined to grab something in Penn Station so I'm not dragging my suitcases all over the block looking for a restaurant, but that's just me, not to mention finding a place to put the bags in the restaurant.

For anyone who is interested, some of us are meeting in Diversions at 3PM on our first sea day. We're doing a NON champagne girls meeting. Nothing organized, just show up and order a drink of whatever you want.....just wear pink. Boas and tiaras are optional. Anyone who wants to join in is welcome.

Here is the info on the NON champagne girls meet - guys are included in this also. EllaEnchanted sometimes hosts these on her cruises but because she just did a large one recently…we are doing an informal one…just wear pink .

Aboard! I booked this cruise on Thursday shortly after receiving our email from DVC offering the deal! It was too good not to take them up on it! you will love cruising on Disney! This will be our 5th cruise on the Magic. Lots of experienced cruisers on this thread so ask any questions you have.

Thanks!!! We are so looking forward to it..we have been married 10 years and never had a couples only trip...hopefully my husband will love it... He has been very hesitant about a cruise.. With the deal he said how can we not do it.... I booked it within 30 min... Hahaha!!!

LOL!! Took me a little longer. NOT my fault! Hubs called me while I was reading the email. He said, "Did you just get an email from DVC?" Then he said he was checking with his boss about taking the time off and he would call me back. I sat here on pins and needles waiting for him to call me with the go ahead!

I'm doing a B2B2B from 9/2 to 9/7 to 9/12 to 9/17 for 15 nights (yes the same itinerary 3 times so that I can be Platinum by the member cruise in January and b/c I got the DVC sale of $649 per person per veranda). And so far the 1st cruise FE is 17 cabins for 50 people. I just had surgery Friday and will have another this Friday. So, I have to pace myself re FEs. Thanks again

I am new to this board and not sure if I am posting this in the right place. In reading through all the posts, I read that many are planning to drive to NY. Please be aware that construction has just started on the George Washington Bridge/roadways, and the predictions about the delays are dire. If you Google construction GW Bridge, you can find information about the delays expected and plan extra time or an alternate route.

I'm doing the 9/2, 9/7, and 9/12 sailings. Unfortunately my DH has a 100 person reunion at 4pm on 9/2 and he leaves 9/15 for Shades of Green at WDW for a work conference. Therefore I will be hiring a Towncar or Suburban to drive me and my DM up/back from Baltimore. Mapquest says that the NJ Turnpike is almost an hour quicker. Would you agree? And does that route run into the GW Bridge? Thanks in advance!

Yay, I only learned about the DIS while on the 2011 Wonder Panama Canal so I missed the big Champagne Girls event. So I guess I will get a 'taste' of it this time

BTW, are there any CGs on the 9/2 or 9/12 sailings? I'm doing B2B2B from 9/2 to 9/17 for 15 nights... The DVC $649 per person per veranda was too good to pass up and will get me to Platinum by the Member cruise in January!
