First, Does anyone know who Dan/Andrea's DISName? I'm labeling/stuffing/packing my FE gifts tonight and can't find Dan/Andrea on FB to take them in my post stating that 3 of the 6 know there room numbers and could they please find out so that I can print my labels as I leave this Sunday for the 1st of the 3 cruises. Thanks
P.S. I'm also looking for Carina, Caroline and Luke's Room and Marlo, David, and Draco's Room too for the FE. Thanks again!
Hey everyone....In regards to the corking fee.
DCL charges the corking fee regardless of whether the bottle is opened already or not when you bring it into the dining room. The corking fee charge has nothing to do with
the actual opening of the bottle. It is a service charge for bringing a non DCL purchased bottle of booze into the dining room. The servers are supposed to charge this on every bottle not purchased on DCL but sometimes they "overlook" it and sometimes they do not. Sometimes they may feel that charging you the corking fee will diminish their tip but they are supposed to charge it. So...go in with your own bottle fully expecting to pay the corking fee and if it is not charged, then consider yourself lucky...otherwise you may be disappointed when they bring around the slip to sign for the corking charge. According to DCL policy all beverages brought onboard are to be consumed in your own cabin and not consumed in public areas. Also, as JillJill mentioned all beverages brought onboard MUST be packed in your carryon bags so make it easy on yourself and put it in a rolling type bag as you will have it with you until the rooms open at 1:30 pm. Beverages are NOT to be packed in checked luggage. If DCL find beverages in checked luggage they will confiscate it. No trying to be a Debbie Downer but I don't want anyone to be caught off guard if they are charged the corking fee or have their booze confiscated. MJ
Thank you so much!!!
Thanks. I will check out the Roaming Mickey Gnome game.
Yes, the Alaskan cruise was on the Wonder out of Seattle, and it was fabulous. The scenery in Alaska is so amazing, and it was so much fun to see the characters in their Alaska outfits. My only complaint about the cruise was how fast it went -- much more so than our previous two. Oh well, just leaves me wanting to go back to Alaska -- either on another cruise or maybe the Adventures by Disney land-based trip. It also made me really glad I had this cruise booked and waiting in the wings.
Great we would be glad to have you! Alaska sounds wonderful! It's on my list to do but not during super cold months, lol

11 Days

Since next Monday is Labor Day, this is the last Monday that I have to work before the cruise! Youngest DD started high school this morning - can't believe it. I'm getting anxious about the cruise and leaving her at home with her older sister. I know they will be ok, but it still makes me nervous and she is not too happy with us for leaving her at home. Tammy
Every time I see you post now you make me hungry especially since I have not had white sugar in over a month. I was on a 3 week cleanse and pretty much still just eat fruits/veggies/lean meats. But, I am looking forward to a
Congrats on your last Monday worked and I'm sure you daughters will be fine
Forgive me if someone mentioned this already on the thread.... Is anyone a big pin trader thats going to be on board? I am packing now and am not sure just to bring be trades to trade with the cast members or should i bring a few of my nicer pins to trade? do they have meeting areas for pin traders? They dissuaded this more in wdw but for one place in Epcot, so i am not sure if they did everywhere.
I'm bringing about 30-40 pins
Not sure how they will handle pin trading on a 5 nigh but on most 7 nights they have a night where the officers all pin trade in the atrium. They even roll out a fixture where you can buy pins right in the atrium. I would think they would have some sort of pin trading...as they usually do (it just might not be with the officers). MJ
They did the same on my 4 night last year.
We are dancing today-received room assignment. Called because my online stuff is still all screwy, and wanted to make sure that it was straightened out before departure. They gave me the room assignment over the phone, it is not showing in my online reservation information. So relieved to know where we will be. Also told me that the cruise is sold out...
Update: Is now showing in my reservation, so those with GTY should check!
Yay!!!

BTW, do you know who Dan/Andrea are?
I know I asked this before - but I am trying to make something for everyone on this cruise that is on the disboards. I received most everyone's names but not everyone. If you do not mind, would you please provide me with your names. Thanks,
Linda
I after 5 days and I only got 3 hours sleep this evening after being up 27 hours

, but I think I mentioned our names. But not having your list I can't be sure. So here it is maybe again... Christa Gill and my DM, Cathie Slinger
We received our room today as well. We did an IGT rate, and I'm thrilled to end up on the 7th deck.
