I received a voice msg from someone at DCL telling me they had the wrong date in the computers for our At Sea day and moved my Brunch ressies from Wed to Tuesday.

Which is great, except now I have Palo dinner on Tuesday.

Oh my... LOL

Deb -

Just got off the phone with Matt (in charge of all special DCL cruises) re the same thing. Guess what - they found out about the error from my post on the DIS!!!!!

Matt says we're in for a REALLY GOOD TIME! (Hi, Matt!) (He'll be there...)

:cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thanks for all the info on Key West. Since this is our first cruise it is all a little overwhelming. I really hope there is palo's left when we get to book. It is the one thing we really wanted to try for our 10 year anniversary. If not everything else sounds great. We are having a garage sale this weekend then camping next week. After that we can get excited for the cruise even more. :cool1:

I hope Matt reads my post about my extreme frustration with trying to book Flounders nursery! It's 11:00 and still nothing. I'm in tears here.

Well, now I don't see any options for brunch for this cruise. I have my dinner ressies, but it says that I have booked my maximum. I thought that we could book one dinner and one brunch. Before it was showing that I could book brunch for CC day, but I wanted to book for sea day if it's been fixed now. Urggghhh!!!

I think you'll need to wait while they get brunch reprogrammed for the right date. The programmers probably worked all night and they're having to wake one of them up - and as a part-time programmer, I know I can be REALLY grumpy when that happens! :flower:

Okay, got my reservations taken care of with no problem. We just booked for Castaway Cay and are doing our own thing in Key West.

Jamie (DD 13) wanted to do the Wild Side for Teens so she is booked for 9 a.m. - 1:10 p.m. for that. Guess she'll miss the group picture (like she really wants to be in it anyway).

The three of us (Robert, Linda and Jamie) are scheduled to parasail from 2-3 p.m. Robert and I have parasailed before (not with Disney) and had a blast. Even took camera up and took pictures! If anyone wants to join us we'd love to have a fellow dis'er come at the same time!

There were no brunch times up when I just booked, I'll check later, but I'm thinking we may just opt out since it is such a short cruise and don't want to miss anything!

By the way-Robert and I did the wave runners for the eco-tour on Castaway Cay in May as we headed out for our 14 day Panama Canal trip. We own waverunners, so it was not a big deal for us to drive them. Some people were quite "scared" to be on them. Others had a blast. I would recommend that you not be afraid of the waves and the bumpy ride. Goggles highly recommended so you don't get salt water in your eyes. We loved it and learned alot from the guys who took us out about the islands as they knew the area well. Anyway, just thought I would give info for anyone thinking about doing that excursion.

I do know that Tom McAlpin announced on our Panama Canal cruise that they were bringing stingrays to CC but I am not sure when. Probably sometime after the Magic goes into drydock this fall. We want to swim with the stingrays when they bring them in.

Okay. That's our update!

Linda

Oh, I know. My DH is a programmer, so I know how he can get. Anyway, I guess that I was just getting a little impatient wanted to make everything just right. I'll just keep checking the DCL website today to see if brunch shows up.

Diana - Have you been able to book Flounders yet? Also, did you get my PM about linking our dinner ressies??

I hope they transfer the existing brunch reservations to Tuesday. I hope I do not have to go and try to rebook it. I really love the Palo Brunch. I think I even like it better than dinner.

Update: I just check my reservation. It does say Tuesday so that means they did transfer them. Whew :flower:

No I haven't been able to book yet. In fact ever since I got off the phone with DCL who I have to say was absolutely USELESS in helping me, it says they are having system problems. Basically the supervisor told me, I have to keep trying because there is nothing she could do.

Are you able to get into your ressie now? Maybe you can try to book my flounders?

Diana,

Based on last time, I could tell you with reasonable certainty there shouldn't be that many kids on this cruise. Last time there were like a few hundred kids total. It's got to be some kind of system problem on their end. Relax, don't panic yet, don't think they'll fill up on all the spaces that quick either.

I am glad Iam not the only one having problems booking. I get nothing for flounders. If I can't get nursery time our palos and spa times are no good. Disney cruise line told me then if nothing came up there is only times left for those who do not have a computer and need to be booked on the ship. I am not very happy with this but will keep oin trying.
:confused3

Which, that is impossible as booking for Flounders was supposed to first open today. They've already said they're having some kind of sytem problem on their end. Wouldn't go into full on panic mode just yet.

Ok, I don't know what's up with the Flounders ressies, but I was able to cancel a few of my times and rebook for different times. So, it seems that some are able to and some are not, because the times are not all taken up. I show TONS of times when I go to book.

Diana - if you want me to try for you, PM me your info and I'll log on as you and see what happens.

I was able to book brunch on Tuesday. I had to cancel some of my Flounders ressies, since you are only allowed 8 hours online. But, I was able to pick up the ressies on Tuesday.

I will keep trying I can only get dinner at palos and It say I booked max allowed. I also can't get into excurtions? Thanks atleast I know there was a lot of nursery times available and maybe brunch .

Janet

Janet - Don't fret!! There was still brunch available, and a lot of Flounders times. I was getting the max allowed too and I was finally able to get brunch a little while ago. So, they must be working on it to get it right for everyone.

Thanks Mark for being so reassuring. I know in my head that there aren't going to be that many children under 3 on this cruise, but it is so frustrating when other people can book and I can't. Jealously, perhaps? :rotfl: I don't think their system was designed to accomodate the compulsive planners that we all are! :rotfl:
