Hi everyone! The sun is shining here today and the mountains look beautiful up the road. Planning to go down to the desert for a week. This trip will help tide me over til the cruise (maybe). Going to go down to DL for a day or two also - not sure when.

More prayers and some pixie dust to Grandma Lightbulb - hope you're feeling better soon.

Gail - yes, I did drive out here alone but I did have my lil' dog with me! She's a great companion on road trips! I'll try to bring back some decent weather that way in a few weeks. :wave2:

I'll try and catch you in chat if I can get my internet to work in the desert - just have to remember the time difference! :sunny:

Hi again all:

what site do I go to - so that I can join the Friday nite chat with everyone?? Can't seem to find it. Duh!!!! Sorry :badpc:

Booked our flights today! $353.80 for 2 RT out of O'hare. We are on American Airlines but United, USAir and Spirit were all within $5 of each other. Soon we will be less than 200 days away. We are getting excited here. Our dose of disney last week helped fuel the fire. The T-shirt design looks cool!.

Hi everyone, this is just to keep in touch, and to tell you that Grandma Lightbulb and family are remembered in my prayers.

Okay, I'll try to quit lurking and join the thread occasionally! I sent Mary our family photo yesterday, however, I have been slow in getting to her.

We are Linda (seaulater), Robert (Mr. Seaulater) and Jamie (DD-13) and own at OKW since 1994. We were the family of 13 that went on the Christmas Cruise with Mary, Mark and about 150 of our other family members from the Dis Boards.

Right now you can find me on the Panama Canal thread for May 14-28 and that is where most of my free time (well, I really don't have any of that) is going to right now.

I'll try to check back at least once per day, but if there is something I miss, please PM me and I'll respond!

Can't wait for the member cruise!

Linda

We will be on the DVC Cruise this will be our first DVC Cruise. We are also on the May 14th Panama Canal Cruise and see alot of the same names.

We would be interested in the T-shirts (sent e-mail) and also any pins that are being made up.

Thanks

Tom and Diana

Mary, glad you are enjoying your trip.

Scott, have a great trip.

Kay, the only place I can think of right now to find the Chat room is if you go to the community boards link at the top is a "sticky" for DIS Chat Schedule.
Clicking on the link will take you where you need to be. You must register to use this feature, there is a tutorial available to get you started or any time you need to refresh yourself about it. Happy chatting.

Everyone, happy hump day.

Scott, have a great trip.

We will thanks much, Saturday should be na adventure as the winds may be out of the North and that will make the Gulf Stream a little rough,

We have not heard from DVC concerning the members cruise in awhile. Has anyone heard any plans or events for the cruise? I am sure there will be a few surprises which are always fun.

I expect we'll see an e-mail later this month. We got one the end of October and another the end of December.

whew ! fianlly found the correct chat site that I wanted. I think I have been out of work tooooooo long. Takes brain chips a little time to work some days. LOL :hourglass plus :teacher: (my lesson for the day)
Thanks Tiger Lily for your help - I just started browsing and there it was......
OKWPA: I haven't heard anything in the past 6 weeks or so. Sure something will come out shortly. As soon as someone gets a bulletin or the such, they will let us know.

John, Kathy and I are still working on the shirts

Wow, sorry guys. I've been MIA from this thread lately. I see that Mary has updated you on the Grandma Lightbulb situation....THANK YOU, MARY!! This thread has sort of taken back burner for awhile so I'm glad that Mary has kept you up to date on this!!

Here is the latest (copy and pasted from the other thread to save time)

update on grandma lightbulb....
her dh called this morning. all of the test results are not in yet, but the doctor is very hopeful that this is a contained cancer. her lymph nodes were clear of cancer cells and that is wonderful!! he gave her 5 yr survival rates of about 80%.

hoping she'll still make it on this cruise! by September she'll probably NEED this cruise!!
thanks all for the prayers!

Ohiominnie- I'm glad the news is so Great! Hope a speedy recovery is comming now.
WDWLVR - Mary did any of my e-mails reach Mark? If not ,I might PM you the info . Thanks, Chris
iluvdisney (Mary) - I'm glad you made it out there safe and sound.Have a great vacation ! We have more snow at home! Take care. :wave2:

Bumping from the Bottom of page 1 ...

Is anyone gonna be visiting for the Soarin' Preview??

Cheryl

I think that we'll be going for the Soarin' preview. DH always has to go for all of the preview-type stuff.

Won't be down for the preview but will say that we love Soarin'. We've done it a couple of times out at California Adventure.

DH and I are off the wait list and now going on our 2nd cruise for 2005. Hard to believe we are going on cruise #2 and have not been on our 1st one yet. Celebrating our BDay in April cruise with a Veranda room. I am worred that the ocean view room would be a dissapointment compaired to the Veranda.

figment795 - Congratulations on getting off the wait list! Our first two cruises (Feb 2003 & Sept 2003) were both in a verandah room - we absouletely loved it!!!!! Feb 2004 we took our 3rd cruise and since we booked it 6 days before the sail date we booked an inside cabin (due to price). I was afraid it was going to be horrible having the inside cabin and found that it wasn't bad at all. We did miss having breakfast on our verandah, but I WAS ON THE SHIP and that's all that mattered. Having the oceanview will be nice and I don't think you will have any problems going from the verandah to the oceanview. Just remember you can always get breakfast and go to the secrect deck 7 and pretend that is your verandah :teeth:

Gail

You and John could come to our room and do breakfast on the veranda Gail! I'm sure Dale and Karen will be there with us once or twice.

Squid

Squid for the Member Cruise we have a Cat 6 - I think we are a few doors down from you & Coleen. It was a year ago that we had the inside room and we actually survived - it really wasn't bad, but I do like the verandah!

What a sight the 6 of us on your verandah - that would be interesting!!!!!

How was the trip to Florida - I'm sure you guys had a great time!

Gail
