I spent yesterday doing some scrapbooking from our December Cruise - really getting me in the mood to cruise again.

Is that all??? It will be here before we know it. Seriously, it's a great way to help keep us all going with this kind of weather - something important for all of us to look forward to! Thanks Mary for reminding us - you know how I so look forward to another great adventure with my DVC/DIS friends!

We're getting excited and anxious here as well. It really became real to us when I confirmed with my mother that she was free to come and stay with the kids. I had to wait until after the holidays and after she stayed with my sister's kids for their Europe trip. I had to time my asking just right so as not to freak her out. I guess I caught her at the right time cause she said OK, marked it on her calendar and now we can book airfare knowing that it's a go for sure!

LOL! It's 28 degrees in Texas today! I guess that may seem balmy to some of you right now, but to us we're freezing our you know what off!

Had to come here for a little inspEARation. I just did the "crawlspace limbo" installing a new sump pump. You know the drill, waddle around through yucky water 8 inches deep,clear to the other end of the house then schlep around installing a new pump and the waddle back with freezing wet feet and legs.

I gotta go somewhere warm.

Hope you are all getting excited. Like Mary says only 33 weeks to go!

In asnwer to the question about how long I trained. A group of us from over the WISH boards here talked each other into participating last year around this time. So, it's been a year in the making.

The countdowns really are fun to see on Sunday for sure. We are having storm warnings here with accumulations continuing until tomorrow evening. Probably a foot by then. Oh joy.

Steve, yuck on your mess. Not fun for sure.

Steve I would have gotten alot of enjoyment out of watching you doing the crawl space limbo - definite entertainment. Gotta love those sump pumps.... as long as they work. Ours went out at our old house (ours is in the basement tho) and John said he would go to H.D. to get the new pump and while he was gone I should clean out all the spider webs and nasty stuff! He's a tiny bit afraid of centipedes

I like the countdowns too.....weren't they at 45 or something when Mary started doing them? Once summer gets here the time will really fly!

It could be worse. You could also live right down the road from the Colts(like me) and still have your sump go bad(mine didn't). Bring on the prozac.

Well another weekend behind me and not that much more done. I keep planning on things to do on the weekends and life winds up intruding anyhow. The bitter cold has thrown a few wrinkles in this weekend for sure. There is some finishing I need to do then I will be dropping an email on everyone that sent me one. Be assured that I HAVE been receiving them, even if I havn't responded to them yet. Just be a bit patient with me at this point.

I do have one piece of advice for anyone who is coming down before and havn't planned a stay yet, look at WDW, that's where the planning stages of a pre cruise meet are leading to.

So should we change our reservation at the coast to one on property????? If so is there a preferred location?

I think that Mark is hinting at that Scott - I will have to rethink when I leave so I can get down there a day earlier since I'm driving.

I think we are coming in on Friday and we will be staying somewhere on WDW property for Friday and Saturday. Then we will be going back to WDW from Thursday to Sunday.

We're flying into Orlando, and then driving down to stay near the port on Saturday. We'll probably end up missing any activities that are planned before the cruise...

We will be hitting WDW after the cruise though (Th - Su). We've decided to splurge, and made reservations for AKL-Concierge!!

My party of eight will be arriving Thursday night. Will either stay at OKW or VWL. Taking a limo to the port Sunday morning. I suspect that we will be preoccupied before the cruise because the other family of four with us has NEVER been on any vacation of any kind. I figure that we will go to Magic Kingdom Friday and Studios on Saturday. That way we can see Fantasmic before the cruise.
This family has had it rough and we are trying to say to them "Good Job" since they otherwise wouldn't get to go. We will return to the World after the cruise and depart for Indy Sunday.
